I keep hearing from the players how our offense is going to stick to the run today. I hope to God that they stop running once the Lions put 8-9 in the box. It seems like the bettors with my bookie agree. The first quarter Lions +.5 and Total points under 7.5 are being hit hard. People are expecting the Jets to come out running and get stuffed, at least in the first quarter. We need to have a balanced offense.

Actually, there's no evidence of that what so ever. We win when our offense is balanced and can keep the opposing defense guessing. Last year, when we ran much more than we passed, we would barely outscore the other team in our wins. Teams would stack the box with 8-9 people. Same shits been going on over the last few games. The running game needs the passing game to work, or else the running game will get stuffed.

Congratulations all you Lions fans, this is the best "sensible" thread that we have had with opponents for a long while. Can you all come back and post again?

I came in here to post that I hope this is the plan. The run will work, and it will only help open up the pass game.

I had a dream Kyle Wilson got his first pick today. Maybe it's a sign. Lets go Sanchez.

SOJ if they lose today.... here's to the 2010 Jets though. Be resilient and get that "bounce-back win"

Totally agree. I'm been confident that they will come back and have avoided being a SOJ fan...but damn this would disappoint if they cant do it.

So much for that, Sanchez was looking at Edwards the whole time.

    But you know what?
It's the same routes every week...
Stop route, out route and slant...
    EVERY FUKIN WEEK.

If he does, he needs to learn which side to tuck the ball away in
