I think its actually suppose to be about his rough childhood... BUT if there is commentary by Rex and him then...

Not if you put Sandra Bullock in the role of white adoptive mother.

Bart Scott's story is just a little less interesting than Ohers...
Not to mention there'd be a large amount of professional athletes that have a very similar upbringing as Bart.

Little less interesting? Unless Bart was homeless then raised by some rich white people in an all white neighborhood and attended an all white school then I cant see how its a little less interesting. I love Bart but black football players with rough pasts are a dime a dozen.

Bart Scott is one of the best linebackers in the NFL now?

I would much, much rather watch a documentary about a day in the life of Bart Scott than a fictionalized version of his life story.

I can't believe he played some safety in college, that's one bigass safety.

He must've murdered some receivers at that time. Plus a RB in HS, pretty impressive athlete.

Maybe they can make this a sequel to 8 mile, 8 1/2 mile or something.

Shotput and Disc. I was too much of a pussy boy back then to go out for football. Biggest regret of my life. I would have made an awesome guard or center.

There was an article about a Jets player I remember reading who was from a really bad neighborhood, and was taken in by his white school teacher, and he ended up going to college on a scholarship and he visits his mom in the shitty neighborhood now and then. But he's a pro player now.

Maybe a walk on free agent that didn't make the team? Not sure...

I don't know about who that might be. But I do remember Curtis saying if it wasn't for football, he probably would have joined a gang and be dead at this point as his neighborhood was shit.
