I think you could easily say someone like Sanchez or Bummy are hurt, since Bummy would have just pitched 3 days prior.

that's a trick I've wondered why teams haven't used. I guess they're afraid of MLB finding out and penalizing them?

Obviously a team would rather have another bench player or bullpen arm rather than a starter who isn't going to pitch again (game 5 or game 6 starter, for instance).

It would be very suspicious if it happened, but I can't recall a team ever trying this.

Huff!!! 2 run homer, looks like it went out of the stadium!

    2-0 Giants, top 3

Umpires in this series have been god fucking awful. The ball was a good 6 inches off the plate, called s3 on Posey.

    Giants win game 4, 4-0

    Giants lead the series 3-1.

Bumgarner goes 8 deep, Wilson closes it out.

Lincecum vs Lee, game 5 tomorrow!

Bush Sr and Jr threw out the first pitches. Classic Bush. Starts out not so bad, finishes like a piece of shit.

IATA, as a lifelong Giants fan and whose family has been a fan of the franchise since 1898, I must ask this question...aren't you a Red Sox fan?

I'm a Giants fan. Born and raised in the Bay. Check out my old SN, I defended Barroids till the end, hahaha.

I'm a Red Sox fan, although not as intently as a Giant fan, via the 1980's and 90's Red Sox brutal fights with the Atheltics. Fuck the A's. Additionally, I enjoy having an AL team to root for, since the Blue Jays play an hour away, so I can goto a few games a year and really enjoy myself by being a total asshole visitor fan.

I don't care if someone thinks I'm a fairweather fan or whatever. I am what I am, I root for both teams. However, if these 2 teams were to meet in a WS, it would be the Giants I rooted for.

Giants baseball rules dictate we lose Game 5 and win Game 6, it's only right to torture us a bit more :p

Dude has a big fuckin mouth. Between bashing the Yankees and this, he should probly keep his mouth shut until his team wins something.

this is the kind of duel that should've happened in Game 1, in the pitcher's park.

Renteria one of the clutchest in Giants and Marlins history

EDGAR RENTERIA think about it...a home run.
Its like Bucky Dent hitting a home run to win it.

Torres mic'd up: " He told he was going to do it! He told me"
