The refs made the right call, it's the rule that is questionable at times.

    San Diego lost it.

The Fags got two turnovers inside the 20 came away with 2 fg's... they have no one to blame but themselves

Hey Abysmal mentioned a pill that would make the poster automatically punch himself in the face right before they hit the submit button....

Can the mods start handing it out to these retards before they start their retarded threads?

The push out rule was abolished... the receiver needs two feet down and the defender has the right to throw him out of bounds... I think they changed that last year

Now Denver fans are complaining that the game should have been called at the half

Now being reported the line judge is from pittsburgh also... not saying i believe in all the "the game was fixed" talk but the NFL should not allow officials to officiate games with teams from where they come from.

The refs blew the Pittsburgh game.

But this is nothing new; certain refs are just too quick to blow the play dead in a potential fumble situation. For God's sake, just let it play out! You can always huddle and decide what happened after the fact.

With that said, it has absolutely nothing to do with team bias. It was just a costly, blown call.

That was a 2010 rule I wrote above. It is the same rule that applied on the Santonio Holmes reception late in the game last week.

Can't blame the refs... Good teams win games regardless of the calls.

I'm not saying I haven't complained about officiating, what Jet fan hasn't?

The Dolphins had every chance to win that game before the last drive became an issue. The Steelers turned the ball over to them twice in the first few minutes giving them two red zone possessions and they didn't even get a first down.

Our linebackers were getting held all damn day and not one call went against Miami. They were called for 3 penalties all game long. A block in the back/hold on a kickoff, a way too blatant personal foul and I forget the third one. Probably a false start/5 yard penalty.

Even IF Miami gets the ball back there, they still have to run out the clock and the Steelers had 3 timeouts left. There's no guarantee Henne and the Dolphins can do that.

Also, don't forget the Dolphins got the ball back with plenty of time to drive for a field goal which they had been doing fairly well all game. They couldn't do it.

    They had their chances......

Honestly, I don't really give a shit about the Miami Dolphins. I know we had a very close game with them that could have gone either way, but I just don't feel like we'll be competing with them come December.

I want the Steelers and the Patriots to rack up some L's. I know the season is young, but in my eyes, the winner of the AFC East will compete with the winner of the AFC North for homefield advantage throughout. The Patriots look very, very touchable, but the Steelers are the best team in football.
