    That's SO week three.

It's an evolving defense and they've looked like they've made some progress the past couple of games. I realize that means little-to-nothing, and at some point they'll probably regress a little, but all I'm saying is that you may be surprised by the end of the season how good their young defense turns out to be.

Dont really see the Steelers hype, so they have Ben back, that D is nothing without Polamalu , we are a better and more talented team than them

And yet, they still have Polamalu on the field. If Polamalu suffers a season ending injury you will have a point, until then Pitt has a very good defense that is playing much better than the Jets.

Don't really see the Colts hype. That offense is nothing without Manning.

Yeah, I agree. They have a lot of talent, but the draining away of veteran leadership was bound to have an effect early in the season. I'm not surprised that they've struggled, but I also wouldn't be surprised to see them play well enough for the offense to win close games late in the season.

My biggest concern is what happens if Tate comes on, though.

I wouldn't bet on it. You still have McCourty as your cb and no one else. Rivers will totally expose them, again.

I usually don't talk smack, but I'm pretty confident Rivers will be able to pass willingly on your defense.

Fox Sports has us sitting at #2 behind the Steelers.

The Jets are proving that last year's postseason performance was no fluke. They have tremendous balance on offense, which many doubted would be possible coming into the regular season. But the resurgence of veteran RB LaDainian Tomlinson is a big part of that.

I knew this would happen when that PI was called, but it is insane that people, experts especially, are saying the jets were 'handed' anything. Makes me so mad, at least watch more than the last play of the game if your gonna have input.

You're exactly right. But with Manning, they're a top-5 team.

Consider that little has changed on their roster from '09 -> '10, and in '09 they were 14-2 with a SB appearance.

They've played a bit sloppy this year, but it's a long season...

He better be perfect, because I see the Pats racking up 40 points on that Chargers D.

I try not to put too much thought into it, but it's nice forum fodder until the next game. Especially going into the bye.

I'll take being #1 when the season ends. In the meantime, I like where we're at.
