I think the bookies are controlling several games, the Chiefs got ****** by the refs big time today, its really unfortunate to see games decided by these Bums!! Thank God the Jets won despite the refs.
I have never been more furious at a team of refs ever in all my years watching sports than I was today but I'd like to believe they were just completely incompetent.
Horrible horrible horrible... I was sure the bias of the officials was sure to cost us the game, or at least the opportunity to win it. But the thought kept going thru my mind that somehow the team has put themselves in the spotlight with all the smack talk. I hate to think that, but I do.
The refs had it out for us today; almost as if they were trying to even the scales. But the biggest call went in our favor and we won the game in part because of it. Fuck it, we're 5-1 and fuck everyone else.
All this thread proves is that I'm not fukin seeing things... I may be crazy, but I know what I saw today. It was absolutely atrocious, The fact that it reminded me of the NBA and even worse, the LAKERS should tell you how bad this game was called
nhl is the worst-officiated league. nfl and nba are pretty close to each other. baseball is by far the best. of course, it's much easier as there's generally just one 'play' at a time to be refereed.
Uhhh, no. NBA - BY FAR. The refs control and dictate outcomes. MLB/NHL - Tie. Baseballs calls and Hockey calls support momentum which is ridiculous and unsportsman-like. NFL/FIFA - Most of these are Missed calls but most calls are right...although once in a while there are bad games.
I refuse to believe that the biggest hatchet job you've ever seen occurred in a game in which the team that got screwed WON. We won the fucking game. That's all I care about. The refs sucked, but let's quit whining about it and move on.
What a frustrating game to watch, I can't remember the last time I've seen more Offensive PI calls, ridiculous. And how about that PI call on Cromartie on an a beautiful play, and Holmes little push off was called?? That same push off wasn't called on Randy Moss last week...absolutely no consistency
Today was BULLSHIT. The pass interfearence on Cro leading to the TD by Denver was complete chicken shit. I was surprised they called the one on Santonio.. Horrible job, lucky we were on the end of the winning line, or I'd be super pissed.
TBJ - Could not agree more. I've NEVER seen anything like it. I am not one to complain about officiating. There are always some blown calls, but there were repeated horrible calls going one way in this game and they were even f-ing up the replays. The only thing keeping me even slightly under control was trying to clam down my son ("THEY'RE CHEATING! THEY'RE CHEATING!").
Well if the Refs were on the Vegas Payroll then they really need to give their money back . . . (the Jets covered)
Dillweed... it would be whining if we lost. We didn't. We won, It's an observation of the facts. I don't even want to see this crew have another chance to be this bad and cost ANY NFL team a win. Got it?
Goodell really needs to look into the refs in general. That was a complete shitshow out there today by the guys in stripes, and they weren't doing a very good job hiding who they were trying to screw. Thank God the pass interference on Holmes was too blatant to let go. The wonderful, awesome thing about this game is, the old Jets lay down and die. The 2010 Jets said "fuck you bitch, were going 5-1 whether you like it or not!"
I think the officiating favored Denver, but I've seen threads on other forums claiming the refs were fixing it for the Jets because they made the call on 4th down that allowed for the winning TD. Things become murky depending on which side you want to win.
