Very surprising that Klecko has so few votes along with Toon and Wesley Walker missing in action Aaron Glenn,Mo Lewis, Curtis Martin from when I was able to see more of the games Current Jets Ellis without a doubt and admiration to Kurt the Jets Fan for the honourable mention to my man Brandon Moore
O wise one. Please enlighten me some more! Back on topic: it seems like CMart is running away with it. As much as I like #28, I had no idea that he was that much favored.
If you are an ultra-talented player surrounded by a sea of shit, you deserve something. Some great Jets have been in below average teams - no fault of their own.
i know i'm being a nit, but i just think it's a bad question. it's an old question in new clothes: "who's your favorite jet (other than those who played in the Superbowl)?" we pick our favorite players based on their talent, dedication, loyalty, personality, etc. and this is basically the same question. anyway, yes, i'm ignoring the spirit of the question, but i'm not trying to sidetrack the conversation. just making a point about the nature of language. and championships.
It was tough to choose between Martin and Klecko so I went with Klecko... with Al Toon pulling a close 3rd.
No problem brotha. In today's NFL it's not often you see players stay w/ a team for more than 3-4 years. I think when you see guys stay for 6+ years and maintain a solid level of play/durability...it should be recognized by the fans. Moore has been a warrioer for a long time.
Yeah he's made a good career for himself UDFA converts from DT to guard spends a season here in Glasgow living in crappy hotel, work out and practice facilities makes it to PS with the Jets and got better every year Held his own on a line of 1st round picks and he'll play his time out as Jet. Inspiration to anybody. Dare I say it the black Klecko of his generation
Chad Pennington. Fate dealt him a crappy hand and all he did was stay positive and go outhere and try to win. If heart was the only thing that won rings, he would have at least four of them. Two of my top 5 Jets games are the win over Green Bay followed by the win over Indy in the wildcard game.
No doubt! If we could have gotten past Denver...the Jets would have crushed the Falcons. That's a big "IF". I voted for CM.
I will go with three groups Circa 1982, 1998, current Freeman McNeil Lance Mehl Joe Klecko Joe Fields Curtis Martin Mo Lewis Sean Ellis
I took it more seriously. Ken O'Brien is probably my favorite Jet of all time but I think that Mawae and the sack exchange were the most deserving.
Jon Vilma. Wait. LMAO well, he's the former Jet I'm most happy to see get a ring, although not with the jets.
