If you had to pick "1" ringless ex-Jet to obtain a ring with this team, in any capacity (now that their playing days are over), who would it be? My picks fall between Wayne Chrebet, Curtis Martin, but since Chrebet was my favorite player during his playing days, I'll have to give him the edge. Wayne Chrebet.
On this team: THE BIG KATT Shaun Ellis! Playoffs in 2001, 2002, 2004, 2006, and 2009? He is the best Jet of all time!
Almost everyone who ever played for the Jets doesn't have a ring. The list of potential candidates is simply too vast.
I went with Curtis. He's just one of those special HOF players. I wish the entire sack exchange got rings too. Also u gotta love and respect Chrebet's heart.
Exactly, this is not like asking what ringless Yankee deserves a ring. I mean think of all the players you are talking about...short list Klecko Lyons Crable Clifton McNeil Walker Toon Shuler Sweeney Martin Lewis Hector Todd Chrebet Gastineau Salaam Mehl Green Glenn and on and on and on....
This board only gives 10 poll option. If who you think is "MOST" deserving is not on that list, please mention it. Like you mentioned, Aaron Glenn ,is also deserving amongst many other people, hence the reason for option poll #10 (Anyone else) I know there are way too many, but there must be one player who stands out to someone for some whatever reason. Again, the question asks for "Most" in your mind. I can't believe the concept is hard to register for some of you people.
out of everything else, that's where you picked out your source? shame on you. you can find better information at a trash can.
I think you could break this into era's and it may work better. I put Martin but alot of guys are just as deserving. I think the mid 80"s team was the most deserving as a whole. I think it may be interesting to ask about fans as well. Of course everyone here would say the jets but there are some pretty abused fans out there that should get some consideration. Take the browns or detroit. They have had it pretty bad as well!
