What will the JETS look in 2-3 years from now? Many are saying this is the only year the JETS can be a force, that the JETS threw everything in one basket. Right now it appears the PATS have started their rebuilding, hoping that with their options that they will be the dominate force once again in the AFC EAST in two years. Is this current JETS team built for the long run?
That made me laugh. We will still be good because we have the young talent to keep us floating at the top and maybe be even better if Sanchez continues to progress but with acquisitions like LT and Jason Taylor you can argue we are going for it all right now. Also if the cap comes back we wont be able to pay J Co Bray Bray and Santonio so Im sure we will have to let some of our talent go.
We'll still have a bunch of talent on the offense, and we should still have Harris, Revis, and Wilson on D (this is why we need more defensive drafts).
We have 3 very young olinemen, a 2nd year qb and three receivers in their mud twenties.the offense will look pretty much the same for awhile. On defense there maybe a few changes.JT Ellis and Jenkins are almost sure to be gone.Cro depends on the correct situation.Bt Scott and pace will be on the backside of their careers but will still be here. All thus talk about win now is b.s. smart drafting and the way tanny plugs holes in fa this team can be relevant for the next seven to ten years as long as Sanchez is a franchise qb
Some girl pulled a fast one on Cro. He probably just figured after the first 32 this one has to be his.
The Jets will have realized their mistake and trade their next 4 first-round picks to grab Leon Washington back, and then he'll have 3 straight 1,500 yard seasons.
I think Rex is just begining to build his defense - can't wait to see when the DL is fortified and they get a few more pass rushers. Rex will always shoot for having an all time GREAT Defense.
