He needs to play and be able to cover Moss all day. If the hammy is good to go Moss should have the most basic understanding of the Vikes offense so he should be able to keep him in check.

Hey Jane! did you bother to ask him what he thought his chances of playing on Monday were?

Jane McManus is the female version of Cimini.

Nah. Cimini hates the Jets. It's obvious.

McManus just sucks at her job.

Cimini reporting that Revis, Pace, and Ellis all practiced today, and looked fine.

Moss is going to have 3 days of practice in an offense he's never played in. Moreover, Cromartie effectively covered him when Revis went out, and I have no doubt that it will be easier the second time around. I'm not really concerned. My main concern is Adrian Peterson and his insane rushing average.

The Vikings should be concerned about keeping their quarterback upright and stopping the best receiving group they've faced all season.

Uh oh, Cimini reported it. That means Revis' hamstring has fallen off his leg completely. :)

I say sit him. I think we have our own version of Bob Sanders now.

#Jets Revis reiterates that he won't play monday unless he's 100percent...no matter how much he wants to match up vs. Moss again. #nfl #nyj

This will be a great test for this team. If the Moss deal works out then the Vikings could very well be the best team in the NFC. Beating them will boost my confidence in this team off the charts.

Cro will probably end up getting Moss...again even if Revis plays. With a receiever like Moss, Favre will probably throw heapers and have Moss go up and get it, so I think Cromartie would be better in that type of coverage.

I agree 100 Percent. Why rush it??? I wish he would sit another week or even two just to be sure. I'm not that concerned about a possible out-of-conference loss to the Vikings ... but I AM concerned about Revis rushing back, aggravating the hammy and then being f#*ked for another 4 weeks.
PLEASE ... Just sit out on Monday dude.

I'll take my chances that we can outscore the Vikings.

He hurt his hamstring and missed 2 games so he is now Bob Sanders?

Bob Sanders has played 48/100 possible games in his career.

Darrelle Revis has played 50/52 possible games in his career.

(Not including playoffs, where Bob missed even more, and Revis is 3/3)

No, but I am thinking of a career change. You really think I qualify? I like sports....I am being facetious of course. I'm a doomer. These types of remarks are par for the course. I'm looking ahead....

Can you tell I'm still a little bitter. I know it doesn't compare I was just envisioning treating him with kid gloves for the rest of his stay at NY with lingering Hammy problems. It was just a thought. I hope it doesn't happen.

Just having Revis back is especially important. Without him, we look like the D from last year...one good CB and a weak one that just gets picked on all day. Sanchez picking up his game helps a lot, but we can still lose games if that other side isn't covered. With Revis, I think the only games we lose is when we beat ourselves.
