Huh Give Revis off for the Broncos game? The Broncos have the best receiving corps in football, top to bottom, and lead the league in passing. Plus the game in on the road. We have to have him back by Denver, have to. What an idiot. Here we go, the haters now getting stupid
Fuck you Florio. Why don't you man up and admit your doom and gloom predictions were wrong? Instead, you write this sniveling bullshit about "many assumed the Jets were on their way to mediocrity." The many - were you and Fatcessa. Go jerk each other off.
About the article, I think Jets should let Revis rest one more game. Percy is good and he has speed. Revis has a very minor issue with WRs with speed, not that he can't handle, but he probably won't shut Percy down. Cromartie can be adaquate.
Florio also has a "Leinart=Sanchez" theory. But after 3 impressive wins (1 a romp against a Buffalo team in transition) he changes his tune. Sack up, take a stand and stick with it or at very least admit you were wrong.
Yeah, Florio is pathetic. As for what JNB said, I think Revis should play this week. Maybe put Cromartie on Harvin if speed worries the team. Let Revis get back in a groove before Denver.
After week 1, Florio said that the Jets were not a playoff team and that Sanchez was the right handed Matt Leinart. After week 2, Florio predicted that the Steelers were going to go undefeated and that they were a "team of destiny." Fuck Mike Florio.
What cracked me up was the Peter King article on Sanchez being the safest QB in the league. Right before a game against a team that picked him off 5 times last season. What a blatant attempt to kick in the jinx, lol.
Indianapolis' receiver success is more a testament to Peyton Manning I think. They're definitely top 3 though.
People are so quick to give all the credit to Manning, and completely dismiss the fact that Indi has the best WRs coach in the NFL, far and away. So maybe they aren't the most talented, but they are the best coached and best at fitting in. Edit: I think Christiansen is now the OC.
The 2009 Jets had nothing to lose, this one does. Saying we have nothing to use kind of contradicts your entire post.
If we're counting tight ends, the Colts def have by far the best receiving corps top to bottom. Who's Denver's tight end? I don't even know. Colts have Wayne, Clark, Collie, Garcon and Gonzalez when he's healthy. That's better than the 4 solid (not great) WRs the Broncos have.
I shouldn't of said we have nothing to lose your right in that aspect, granted we do have something to prove to the NFL, but the Jets franchise won't crumble and die if we don't win this season. Us as fans will think that but we'll be here for a while, a lot longer than people think. As long as Rex is coaching, Tanny is GM and Sanchez continues to grow up were gonna be around for a long long time But regardless I fucked that post up lol with that statement
