This is scary.if mark goes for 26-30 tds and the return of revis shores up the defense to last years level.......... I don't want to say anymore
I cannot believe how good Mark is playing. I never thought he would have this good of a ratio at any point this year.
I thought he'd finish with 8 more tds then int. If you told me after week 4 Sanchez would have 8 td and 0 int I would of laughed.
Even if he was worthy of it at the end of the season, he wouldn't get as much serious recognition since he's still so young. (Revis last year vs Woodson) It's not fair, but it's true.
Peyton through an Int today. NFL.com is not updated. Also, Vick maybe out for a while Brady will have worse stats after Monday. Right now Sanchez is having a great year. Rodger is having a hell of a year too.
I know you love him as much as I do, but slow down. There are a handful of names he has to displace before he gets seriously considered. That award is as much political as it is talent.
Looking through Team stats. Jets are the only team in the league that hasn't thrown an interception this season.
The most important stat for me is the INT. The other stats kinda mislead a bit, the colts and saints realy on the passing offense more than there running so yards and attempts kinda mislead a bit. The 8td's is awesome tho. As long as he takes care of the football and can score a bit he has a superbowl mvp and ring waiting for him ! JETS!!! Also his leadership which no stat can measure has been awespiring! He's really become our franchise quarterback.
I said before the year that if Sanchez had a QB rating into the mid-80's and reversed the TD/INT ratio, the Jets would sign up for that in heartbeat. Only thing confusing to me is how they could have looked so inept in the 1st Game. Only way I would understand it is if the Ravens had all their secondary that night, but they didn't. I have a feeling we are going to play the Ravens in the playoffs. I hope we learned something that night.
End of the day, the one stat that matters is 3-1 and he's been a big part of that. I can't believe this guy hasn't turned it over yet.
This is the recipe Rex has wanted all along. Run the ball and be efficient when you're passing it. It's perfect right now and it's showed the last 3 games.
It actually got to the point this week where my heart didn't leap into my throat every time he dropped back to pass. And that pump fake on McKelvin to Edwards was unbelievable.
He's one pick away from a QB controversy. Right know he's tied with Brad Smith. If he throws one, Brad Smith is the QB of the future. Plus he wears #16, which is an awesomer QB number. So you can run and tell that.
