I have already made my points on the matter and because you can never admit you are wrong, this could probably only end badly for me if I keep at this topic.
I no longer have any respect for you after that battle we had a little more than a month ago. You were dead wrong on that issue and then posted all sorts of errors and then when called out on it, you still could not man up and admit you erred.

Excuse me, but where did I personally make a prognostication in this thread as to which of the two teams would finish with a better record?

Then why are you suggesting that it would be better if one of the teams WON the game. By definition if the team that is the real threat in the end wins the game tomorrow it is the worst possible result for the Jets.

    What the heck. I'll bite.

First of all, neither scenario- one team wins tomorrow night or there is a tie- is clearly or "by far" better than the other. There are solid arguments on both sides here.

The Jets are going to be 3-1. Problem is that they will go to 3rd place if the Pats-Dolphins tie and the Jets lose to Minnesota. Yes, I understand that the Vikings game is not a conference game. Hell with this for now. I'm watching the Jets game.

Bravo. Puck, you're the only one who actually addressed the OP.

Hopefully he's satisfied with the answer.

Good luck and don't drink and drive.

This isnt even a question. Miami easily. Miami has a much harder schedule after the Patriots. Patriots have some VERY Hard and VERY Easy games coming up.

We need New England to get some losses. The Dolphins losses will come in the following weeks. Im cheering for Miami.

Miami easily... we still have to go to NE but the Phags come here. Let's try to get as much space between us and the Patsies as possible because I think in the long run they are better then Miami.

I do too but i hated hearing from Dolphin fans how they are just as good as us and all about their 2-0 road start. I want to see the Pats win cus honestly Pats do not scare me like they should. Their O is awesome obviously but that defense is just terrible. Dolphins play a better complete game.

I'd rather have the pats over the fins, I'd rather dethrone the champs & make this OUR decade like the last decade belonged to the pats.

    Miami.
They have tougher schedule and we beat them in Miami whereas the NE game is in Foxboro.

does a possible 1/2 game deficit really concern you after 5 games?

How do you mean? Do you mean will I personally feel pressure? No. This is a football team we are talking about here. I do not get paid by the New York Jets.

I thought wins counted for more than losses in the event of a tiebreaker?
