Why root, one of them has to lose and that's a beautiful, beautiful thing.

Best case scenario, Miami wins and Brady breaks his pretty boy leg.

Wasn't this already a thread? My answer is the same as it was when this question was asked last week. Root for a dirty bomb.

I'm rooting for a 19-19 tie where both teams miss 2 FG attempts to win the game, once near the end of regulation and once in OT. I can't think of anything that would more piss off the respective fan bases or better improve the Jets chances to win the division.

how about the jets win today and then we can sit back and relax and hopefully watch a good monday night game.

i hate the dolphins more living in FL so I'll probably root for the pats.

I don't think a tie would be good.

Assuming the Jets beat the Bills, look at how the standings would look-
    Jets 3-1
    Dolphins 2-1-1
    Patriots 2-1-1

The Jets would then have to beat Minnesota to stay in first place. Let's say they didn't do that. The standings would then look like this after Week 5-
    Dolphins 2-1-1
    Patriots 2-1-1
    Jets 3-2

I think it would be better if either NE or Miami gets loss #2 tomorrow night.

I'd still prefer those two over the DMV.

    Miami for sure

New England may be a worse team but the pats are a much tougher playoff opponent then the dolphins if it comes to that

This is alot like asking which sandwhich do you hate the most: Chopped Liver or Liverwurst. Picking either one gives me agita but if I had to, I'd root for Miami simply because of too many years of watching the Patriots win. Make no mistake, I'm not for the SoFla boyz either but choosing my poison here? Miami.

Yeah let's just take care of business. Worst thing that could possibly happen is we lay an egg in Buffalo, Phins win, and we have to listen to trolls for the next ten weeks.

I don't understand that thinking. The Jets currently have the tiebreaker advantage over each team. So to heck about worrying if one of them gets to 3-1 tomorrow night. If the Jets win today, they'd basically have a 1.5 game lead over whoever wins tomorrow night. So I say, let's hope one of them gets dropped to 2-2. One team stays the same distance apart from the Jets and the other one falls back further. If NE and Miami tie, then both will still be in good shape.

THIS! But if forced to chose, Miami, because I still don't buy into them as a team, and no matter how pathetic NE defense appears to be, NE finds ways to win, so I'd rather them have more losses.

I'm hoping the Dolphins pull it out. Next Jets game against Dolphins is home game, so that helps. Plus, I'm not a believer in the Dolphins doing well in the playoffs. Brady/Pats on the other hand can always pull off a big upset.

Would never hope for either of these teams to win so I will just say that I hope they beat the hell out of each other, short of wishing injury on anyone, and that they are both dinged up for their next few games.
