http://content.usatoday.com/communi...ract-til-2011-with-more-than-12m-guaranteed/1 obviously too much for a bench QB Eagles are going to have a decision to make.
I have Rodgers and Vick on my Fantasy team, 1 QB starts. I have Rodgers starting this week....but it'll be tempting.
Sucks to be Kolb right now. I say the Eagles should just trade him now while he's got max value, hope Vick doesn't get hurt this year, then draft another young QB to groom this off-season.
The guy likes the smell of his cash...It does not suck to be Kolb. If he is with the Eagles or somewhere else he will get his chance
Seriously Orton is getting 10 seconds in the pocket and is taking his time to throw medicore passes...I dont care how nice it looks in the air
Vick's a FA after the year's over. The only way he stays in Philly is if they pay him a boatoad of $$. Too many other teams need a QB much worse than Philly, and those teams will pay for him. Barring a Super Bowl-type season, Vick will be outta there at the end of the year. Let's also see Vick do this against several good teams before we get too excited. Have to admit, he looks good so far.
Count me as a guy who thinks this Vick thing will come full circle again. The NFL has temporarily forgotten how to defend the guy; at least for about 10 quarters, right? We've seen this Vick before. It was 2002. We'll see it crumble again too, but this time I don't think the run lasts as long. He'll get in trouble, or they'll simply make him beat them with his arm.
One problem with that is that he has much better weapons now in Philly then he ever had in Atlanta, the legs are an issue but his cannon arm is the bigger problem with Jackson going deep.
Cards muff a punt, Raiders recover Rodgers-Cromartie screws it up. they had just stoned the Oakland offense. I'm seeing this again and again this season.
