you have to be a real f'ing imbecile to not only grasp the concept of degrees of success, of which winning the Super Bowl is the highest and having the worst record the lowest, making the championship game being third best to only winning the Superbowl and making the Superbowl (which is further magnified when the team failed to make the playoffs the year before like Jets), or missing the playoffs altogether after winning the division the year before being a significant failure (sound familiar, dunce?), but then depend your argument on anything an equally retarded person like Ray Lewis has to say.
Well, you'll have to earn that right this year. It's not every year you'll get the chance to play two teams who rest their starters in week 16 and 17, and get into the playoffs with a 9-7 record. One of whom actually eliminated you later when it mattered to them.
that argument becomes null and void when we beat one of the teams the very next week at their home field when they were trying, so you can easily deduce we would have beaten them the week before. if you're argument is simply that the Jets weren't better than the colts last year, only one team was. but we'd gladly be the next tier down rather than near the bottom of the ladder like the Fins.
