It's okay to cite statistics at any time of the season, but you have to put them in context. In your first game you played the Buffalo Bills, who arguably have the worst offense in the NFL if not the worst team, and then you played a Minnesota Vikings team with a lost Brett Favre at QB. He is forcing throws all the time and he's done that in both games, not only vs the Fins. As far as the offensive statistics go, those also need to be looked at in context. The Jets offense looked miserable against the Ravens but great against the Patriots. Again, it's been two games. The Jets have a better team than Miami on paper and they should prove it on Sunday Night.
