if they were going to punt anyway, taking the delay of game was the right choice, but it didn't work out for them.

just a ridiculous choice to punt in that situation

Rackers is very shaky in pressure situations, trust me. I watched a lot of Cardinals games in recent years.

Instead of trying for a FG, they should have tried to convert on 4th down.

Or, let Schaub quick kick it. That would have been a very, very, very ballsy call, but if done correctly, Washington would have had the ball inside the 10. It's more likely Schaub would have pinned the Redskins deep than Turk would have. Not that Turk stinks or anything. It's just very difficult to not kick the ball into the end zone from where Turk punted. It's just a terrible place on the field in which to punt successfully.

I hate the icing the kicker play, but unfortunately the numbers support doing it.

If I'm not mistaken this would be the first 400 vs 400 yard passer shootout since Marino-Bledsoe in 1994.
McNabb has gone over 400 yards now, right? He was at 393 a while ago.

I credit Jeff Triplett for trying to jog to the sideline. Looks like shit, but he's got hustle.

Shanahan doesn't try to ice Rackers and the Texans win. Too bad - Kubiak deserved to lose this game, and of course it's bad for the Jets.
