Oh have the Jets said No? Last I had read on the Skins Forums, the Jets had not said no to Haynesworth.
^^^^^ Abdul, on the face of it, I'd think Haynesworth wouldn't be a good grab for a 3-4 defense given that he wasn't 'up' for playing the 'nose' .... and at the same time, crazy at it would seem, I don't know if there's enough "Rex" power to entice him into thinking otherwise in a Jet (sans Jenx) 3-4 scheme. Further, the Jets have precious few draft picks in next year's draft......is he worth it?
The bigger question should be why is anybody talking about Jackson..ya think they are trying to set some sort of record having two WRs sitting out 4 games at the same time? Just imagine those headlines.......
Who cares about next year's draft? There won't be a season and there may not even be a draft. I would care more about the draft of 2012..or 2013..or 2014..or mayve the CFL draft of 2015.
^^^^^^^ Who cares about "next year's" draft? I do. Because as you said, there may NOT be a draft, meaning that along the way--something may get settled--which may end up with a draft in place...with "we" the Jets with only a few picks in 2011???.... That's all I was saying....
Thank god the news worlds has "incarcerated bob" as a source. Next 'howdy doody" declares the Jets are moving to Qatar.
Whether it happens or not, no one here can say 100% the Jets aren't considering Haynesworth as a possible option or kicking around the idea in the front office.... Personally I think without any doubt that they are.
