the thing is we have a perfect in-house candidate with Bill Callahan. He knows the offense, has experience as a play-caller, has done an excellent job with the o-line..
Meh. Rex called the timeout to kick the chip shot field goal. I wanted to f'ing kill him right there. If we had gone up 10-0 instead of 6-0 the game would have been over. It was a truly Herm moment. With that said, F Shotty. We've been so patient with him... He's just terrible at calling games. Go piss a rainbow.
Rex said he hasn't even had a chance to talk to Schotty yet about Shon Greene. I'm callin hornet on this whole thread.
I want to kill Schotty and I am not even the one who's defense dominated today. Imagine how Rex feels.
incarcerated bob is an idiot. he didn't break the revis story take everything that guy says with a grain of salt. i hope its true though
Why throw out all the SB talk? Zorn has demonstrated an ability to get the most out of the QBs he's worked with from day one in season one. Modify the playbook slightly, but I'd love to see him working with Sanchez. Schotty can either shape up or ship out. This fight is a very good thing either way.
incarceratedbob **BREAKING NEWS** Turmoil on the Jets coaching staff after Rex & Schotty get into a shouting match with Schotty shoving Rex/ This is trouble Schittenheimer pushed Rex? haha that must have been a sight to see. And obviously Rex isn't going to comment on this and talk about fighting with his OC after 1 game. Not saying it's definitely true or anything, but just because Rex doesn't address it means nothing.
Altercation or not, I would hope the offensive play-calling will continue to be a heavy discussion throughout the week leading up to NE on Sunday. We all know how well the defense played last night (despite penalties, of course), and now the offense has to step it up. And stepping it up just isn't directed at Mark and company, it's at Schotty too.
If true Rex will be out of the league within two years. Thankfully this is coming from a guy named incarcerated Bob, not exactly a legit source.
And if braylon didnt get the running into the kicker.. and if we didnt get pass interference calls and if we didnt get defensive holding calls.. that game was MUCH more than a decision about going for a TD rather than a FG..
Did he sign on somewhere? I must have missed it. EDIT: Yes. Baltimore. Funny how I didn't notice him last night.
There is no doubt that the offense and defense are like separate teams. Even more with the Jets because Rex just focuses on defense. They played like separate teams last night for sure. No wonder they aren't on the same page and angry with each other.
