It's possible that the Pats made them look bad. They were above average last year, and field the same squad.

kraft is a douche always has been and always will be. he has fucked his players dry for years now. it has begun to catch up to him. dont worry in 5 years the patsies will be back down at the bottom of the league. i say 2 more then the bottom of the division.

you cant treat your employees like shit constantly and expect to continue to have good and hard working employees.

randy moss is about to implode in new england, i knew it was going to happen and assumed it would have been a few years ago but it took a little longer, it will be fireworks for sure this season with him.

Yeah they beat on overrated Bengals team in Foxboro.... huge win for the Pats. We'll have a better idea of how good they are next week.

The juggernaut of Cincinnati really was taken care of by the Patriots. I mean, they've got Ochocinco and TO!! Unstoppable defensive line right there!

A defensive line that lost 21-7 to Cincy after the second half kick return.

What a bunch of bullshit! The Pats always spend right up to the cap. In fact, they are always in the top 5 or 6 teams in total money paid out each year. They just know it is irresponsible to overpay one or two players. Other than Samuel, the guys they let walk have been the right move. Vinatieri, Branch, Law, Milloy... Every team goes through problems fitting all their best players under the cap (and they have to assume it will come back).

...as far as screwing players, Moss was made the 3rd highest paid WR 3 years ago, and Mankins was offered a contract that would have been top 5 for his position. Moss won't implode. He has a giant burr in his ass and is gonna try to prove he's worthy of another giant contract.

They made Wilfork and Brady happy just like the Jets made Revis and Mangold happy. The Pats have to deal with the fact that success means player recognition and players wanting more money. Now it's the Jets turn to deal with talented young players (Harris, etc...) looking for their paydays. We'll see if you blame Johnson when some of them walk away.

He will. If for no other reason, then because he loves to complain about everyone and everything. Nothing positive ever comes out of alleycat's keyboard. The fact that he chose to criticize the Pats' front office should be taken as a sincere form of flattery.

If you watched the game, the Pats put away the game plan and ran a base cover two in the 2nd half. Even TO, in his postgame conference said so. He said in the first half the Pats played man and blanketed them and broke up some big plays. Bernard Scott echoed this...

    lol at Johnny English...

Maybe you should have watched the game or know what you're talking about when it comes to football X's and O's...

The Pats stopped showing their more complex schemes in the 2nd half because of the giant lead they had and went into an almost purely based prevent defense. They knew if they played prevent and removed any big plays down the field, the Bengals wouldn't have enough time to come back into the game, especially if Brady and the O put more points up (which they did).

Belichick was so damn giddy in his post game press conference.. he was trying to hold back a giant smile when you watch it.

Why don't you worry about winning your first game tonight before you try to put down the Pats for WINNING their game against a team that won their division last year and was considered to be a playoff team going into this year...

yea cuz if i owned the team id go on record and say

"not only did I get a phone call from Logan apologizing about his actions and explaining why he reacted the way he did. We decided we wanted him to do it while wearing a kraft cheese cap on NFL Total Access"

dunno why Jets fans are knocking the Bengals. i thought that game was gonna be much closer. and for a team with TO and Johnson, and the return of a top ground game VS what was supposed to be a weakened Pats D?

    the pats spanked them.

that being said Marvin Lewis is slowly proving to be a 1 year wonder that occurs every 4 years when given the chance.

never seen a defensive coach that has a completely avg D unit every other year

Well, all it will take is Mankins to say that it happened. But that has not happened, yet.

    two things

1- No way were the Pats on the verge of giving this guy the same money the Saints gave Evans

2- If they had him in the building and were actually gonna give him that kind of money, no way he'd have left it there if all he had to do was say in the press conference that he was sorry he took a shot at kraft and that it was an emotional response...

u may be right about the contract. but im telling you these are grown men and the Pats organization has a way of treating people like children. if the guy knows hes good he can get his money elsewhere instead of being told to sit in the corner and write an apology letter to the principal.

Sounds like Mr. Kraft is trying to place the blame on everyone but himself.
