Damn it Cowboys. Thank God I'm at school. Can only wonder what my Dad and brother are yelling right now (CB fans). Alright - now the game that actually matters starts tomorrow.
Florio's on the NBC postgame show...........that'll signal my bedtime, and it reminds me that I need to take a shit.
now that that games out of the way we can finally get started on the week long manning slobberfest. SNF is going to be unwatchable next week.
I wonder if anyone actually has gotten cut on the field...I think Parcells did that to Sulipeli Malamala late during his first year there or one of our other offensive linemen.
That note shown during the postgame player interviews regarding the last time a fumble or INT was returned for a score in final play of first half, was that specifically a Dallas note or leaguewide note? 11/18/01 was the most recent case cited. On that date Dallas QB Ryan Leaf threw an interception to Jeremiah Trotter who took it back 50 yards for a TD. I ask the question because I know the Cardinals returned an interception for a touchdown in the final seconds of the first half against the Giants in 2002. In that one, Kerry Collins was the moron and the return put the score at 7-7. The Cardinals went on to win 21-7. I'll have to do some research. Maybe there was still a second or two on the clock after the touchdown.
I really enjoyed it, but if it had been a team in green and white making some of those mistakes I'd have been going batshit insane.
http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/20020...:analyze/analyze-channels:cat-post-playbyplay It wasn't the final play. As you suggested, time was left on the clock (four seconds), and a kickoff occurred after the score.
