    Flex Position Question (non PPR).

I currently have Marion Barber slotted to go, but could replace him with any of the following:

    Mike Sims-Walker vs. Den
    Steve Breaston vs. Stl
    Kevin Smith vs. Chi
    Kevin Walter vs. Ind

Boldin would be shutdown? why agonize over him having a good game then enjoying the game of your favorite team. Sit him down.

I had a similar problem. i am sitting Flacco & Mason for this game.

I just picked up Gaffney #1 target for orton, he's going against the jags, worst pass defense last year! hes not getting drafted in alot leagues good waiver wire pick up.

Need a spot starter in my flex with Beanie Wells likely not playing Sunday. The best options are:

    Steve Breaston
    Thomas Jones
    Brandon Jacobs
    Laurent Robinson

I'm leaning toward Jones simply because he's starting and I think he'll do well paired up with Charles. Everyone else seems to have a heavier dose of uncertainty. PPR league.

I think Breaston has the highest ceiling, but Jones may be the safest play. Week 1 is tough with RB tandems.

In a PPR I probably wouldn't consider either Jones or Jacobs.

I'd roll the dice with Robinson. At least he's a #1 WR, and Bradford has looked pretty good in his past 2 preseason games.

I´m pretty nervous about starting Flacco this week for obvious reasons, my only other option would be picking up Stanton to fill in. thoughts?

Ok so with Wells not playing i had to elevate hightower to my third running back and need someone to fill in at the flex spot.

Reggie Bush already played so my options are

    Johnny Knox
    Michael Crabtree
    Dez Bryant
    Chester Taylor
    Laurent Robinson

I have Knox in there right now just because I assume the Bears are gonna throw a lot so he should have the most opportunities. It's .5 ppr with everything else standard scoring.

    Cutler
    Stafford
    Hasselbeck

Which do I start? Cutler-Stafford play each other. Haselbeck is vs. SF so I don't think he should be the pick.

I hope you mean Stafford. Not the worst choice in the world.

Yeah, I was thinking that, but I really want some steady, if minor, production from the flex this week. I have Andre Johnson, Calvin Johnson, and Steve Smith as my receivers, and Ricky Williams and CJ Spiller as my 2 backs. I don't know how comfortable I feel starting Robinson right now until I see what that St. Louis offense is going to look like.

Harrison over Moreno, hands the fuck down. Harrison is going to have a huge game. I have that choice in the Friars league. Barely thought about it.

    standard h2h yahoo league:

    RB:
    Ray Rice vs NYJ
    Matt Forte vs DET
    Cadillac vs CLE

    WR:
    Nate Washington vs OAK
    Mario Manningham vs CAR

I know it's like 3 hours before kickoff, but I keep flip flopping on Rice, because of the Jets D, and the matchups that Forte and Cadillac have this week.

Edit: Pick 2 of the RB's to start

Dude, you should never ever look at matchups with Rice. He starts every week regardless. Even if he has a bye, you might consider starting him. ridiculous to even ask the question. You start your number one pick, period.

Cadillac? for real? You have to start Forte over that clown

I know projections mean almost nothing, but cadillac is projected for more pts then Forte.

    Flex in a PPR league:
    Hines Ward
    CJ Spiller

    QB (6 pts per touchdown):
    Joe Flacco
    Alex Smith

Right now thinking Hines and Smith

For Week 1, I'd go Stewart. Both backs in Carolina are unbelievably reliable. Sit Moreno and see what happens this week to start to gauge how you can use him this year.
