The difference here is, Chad Pennington obviously wasn't garbage when you just left him out to dry. He went on to have the best year he's ever had in his CAREER his first season ever with the Dolphins. And the even sadder thing IMO... Last years Jets team might win the super bowl if they had a QB around just like good old Chad P. Instead of The Sanchize throwing picks left and right, giving away games, needing to be protected. :beer:
On last years squad.... ? Probably. If You plug in Pennington type numbers into last years team, we're probably playing Indy for HFA in the AFCCG instead of playing against Curtis Painter. However...He's still China Doll Chad....one hit away from turning the Jets into the Clemens train.
well the good thing is that we can at least admit a mistake and move on although I don't like the fact that we pretty much wasted a 2nd and a 3rd. There was an article posted a while back saying Parcells didn't want to draft White, i don't know. I am disappointed with Turner though, I really thought he could turn into something.
