yes im a kid thats why i was 17 when the ravens won the superbowl. I can bet you werent alive when the jets won the superbowl.
well as jet fans were glad you opened your eyes, took you long enough....now wed appreciate it if youd SHUT THE FUCK UP and GET THE FUCK OUT :jets:
Oh yeah!! I was 21 when they won and legal to drink. When the Jets won I was even older because I'm from the future but really am from the past. What's your favorite color?
Let's face it. Two young QB's going up against excellent defenses. The difference being Flacco is throwing into Revis and Cromartie matched up on posession recievers. Will Mason and Boldin get their short passes? Sure they will. Do I expect them to go up top, no. Short passing keeps the field small with less room for Rice to run in. Sanchez will be throwing into what? No Reed. Webb & Washington? Not nearly as scary. Mistakes in this affair will most likely determine the outcome. Going to be one ugly smash mouth game.
the coaches will be warning their offenses about turnovers this week like they're warning their toddlers about Uncle Chester. what's the record for punts in a game? we might see a new record.
The caveman will force at least one pass to Boldin and that will be the fatal mistake. Provided that Sanchez doesn't go full retard and start throwing pic 6s, I don't think that the Ravens score many points.
This is factually correct. I probably shouldn't be going around accusing anyone else of going full retard. Good catch. I will humbly fix.
this game scares me a bit... the ravens are obviously a great team. I expect them to win their division this year. but when i look at their secondary right now and home field advantage, i think we win this close game. No reed, No foxworth. I like fabian washington a lot, at least in terms of him being underrated...he gambles but i saw him make some legit plays last year. not a lot of size but great speed. However webb (who's been injured) and wilson don't scare me at all, especially wilson just stepping on the field. on the other side, Housh has no time to learn the playbook and i think they'll miss clayton IMO, at least for a few weeks.. During flacco's rookie year, all those insane catches for big yards on play action....clayton was always the one making the catch. he made a few of those catches last year also. Keys to this game...sanchez limiting mistakes (duh), wearing down their front seven with the run and containing rice. I worry a bit about the screen with rice, but our run D has looked great so far. Flacco will absolutely have 1 pick, possibly 2 this is probably a 17-10 affair, or 14-10
also...looks like Jared Gaither, their starting RT won't be playing most likely. still recovering from his back injury and they have no timetable on his return yet and won't let him practice. highly doubt he'll play in 6 days
even though this is a joke. Our forum never even remotely sounds like that. This child needs parental locks immediately.
It's hard to believe we're still favored, but consider the following: 1. It's the official home opener. Huge boost there. 2. The Ravens are AWFUL at CB right now. The Jets have the weapons to take advantage. Sanchez just has to play well 3. Our defense is the best in the league, and with the improvement of the rush defense, the Ravens will have a hard time moving the ball. 4. I'm not sure how much faith the Ravens have in Flacco after they pulled in the reigns significantly in the playoffs. I can't wait for this game. I can see these two teams rematching in the AFC title game.
Either the Jets passing game or the Ravens secondary will out-perform expectations. That will decide the outcome. That or a fumble or some other bullshit.
