People are underestimating the ravens secondary in my opinion. Fabian washington has looked real good coming back from the acl injury..he can't tackle worth shit, but he's a pretty good cover corner. Webb, possibly our best corner from last season will be back and we acquired one of the seahawks starting corners in Josh Wilson. No one will be ever able to replace ed reed, but zibikowski has actually been pretty solid filling in for him. Plus I see the ravens getting much better pressure on the qb this season. They'll definitely keep sanchez uncomfortable most of the night. And thank God santonio is out, that guy is a raven killer.
Pretty close dude but I'm part Latino 1/4 as$hole and a 1/4 muthafu**er. I have always said that the jets reached for this kid.
Dude needs to dip his face in acid or something. I feel contaminated just watching a closeup of this fucken retards face. __________________
Fair enough, but do you feel confident that Josh Wilson is up to speed with the system? I like Zbikowski. I think Nakamura will play well for you guys, too. You hit the nail on the head with your second paragraph; if we can't block your front seven, you guys could have Drew Coleman x4 in the secondary and we still wouldn't be able to pass the ball. We've got one weak link in our pass pro. If the Ravens can exploit it, we could be in trouble. If they can't, we're going to have success against your secondary.
With our CB tandem it really just comes down to shutting down Ray Rice. He is similar to MJD, we struggled with him the first drive or 2 but after that figured out how to stop him against Jacksonville last year. This D should pick off Joe Flacco at least twice. With the energy from Revis being back, MNF, opening game, opening game in stadium, Rex/Leonhard/Scott's old team...I see a 23-13 win. I expect Cotchery to have a big game, last time he played the Ravens he had Clemens throwing and no Edwards/Keller to take coverage off and went for something like 160+ yards.
too be honest, neither team will really be at full strength monday night. Truth be told, i think you guys are the better team right now. Because your biggest weakness is your secondary, and our biggest weakness, Sanchez, is likely not going to be ready to take advantage of that. But we have the advantage do to pure energy. We have the biggest home field advantage on our side possibly in the history of the franchise, with the Jets opening not just a new stadium on Monday night, but the first stadium they can actually call their own. If we don't come out with our hair on fire, we don't deserve to exist in my opinion. We should beat you guys based on pure energy. If we were in Baltimore, or if this were the second home game, I would pick you guys over us, but not now, not with so much on the line. With this being Rex's former team, he will be dying to prove they picked the wrong guy to coach their team.
