I think he is done... A couple of guys have already mentioned trading him to some shit team, and I couldnt agree more with you. we would get a big return, and our team would not have to live with the distraction that this will create for, im sure, the entire season. The biggest priority is not Revis its the New York Jets 2010 football season.
You don't trade a guy with that much talent and 3 YEARS left on his deal... You make it clear to him that he plays here or he can start looking for property in Canada...
I just dont see another resolution (ie end his hold out), not with this agents anyway. My point is that if he is holding out for this year, all it does is create distractions for the rest of the team on a day to day basis. I wonder if the team would accept Revis if he ends his hold out mid season and our team is doing well, and he jumps on the gravy train?

Shit, I called this since the beginning.... because I have faith in the lord Revis Christ. EDIT: Know what? Fuck it, I called tons of fucking shit about this situation. I called not fucking going crazy about it because we don't know what the contract number are and how the deal is going to be structured. Now look at it - its a fair deal where the average is 11.5 mil, under the 12 million with the 10 year report. That's fair for both sides. I called not hating anyone because hold out happen (except S&F, even Tanny can't stand them) in the NFL and Jets fans have to be patient even though our franchise isn't used to this sort of deal. I'm tooting my own fucking horn for once and not being sarcastic about it. Power trip motherfucker.... goddammit i need to go to bed.
51 guys called it right. Kudos to them and to the Jets for getting this done. You have to wonder though just what tipped the scales here. Perhaps the impending lockout in 2011, the reality that there wasn't a team out there to trade with, or even the 3 years remaining on his contract that the Jets had every intention on enforcing. Something sure as hell changed their minds over the weekend. I'm glad its over finally. Now we can think about this team playing in January with a real shot.
