Dolphins waived QB Pat White This will go down as one of the worst picks of the Bill Parcells era in Miami. White, the No. 44 overall pick in 2009, showed a complete inability to throw the ball at the NFL level as he sunk to fourth on the Dolphins' quarterback depth chart. If he wants to stick in the NFL, he needs to learn to play another position such as receiver. The CFL may be a better fit. Dolphins waived WR Patrick Turner Turner was a disappointment even at USC, so it was surprising in the first place that a team as well run as the Dolphins wasted a third-round pick on him two Aprils ago. He was beaten out by a pair of undrafted rookies in camp. Haha, 2nd and 3rd rd picks in the 2009 draft... way to go 'phins!
White will almost assuredly end up in the CFL. Cleo Lemon is kicking ass and taking names on the Argos, and White is a better runner than him.
my guess is white heads to the UFL instead. Turner probably will never set foot on a football field again always makes me smile when rivals blow prime draft picks instead of obtaining quality players.
I could see the fins going after Brad Smith when his contract is up.He'd be much better than Pat White as a wildcat QB.
Like in 2007 when the Fins took Ted Ginn in the 1st and John Beck in the 2nd. Ahhhh the Cam Cameron era. Wait, a year doesn't count as an era.
Parcels does have some stinker drafts on his resume. 2009 is shaping up to be one if those CB's dont produce..... There are worries about Smith but Davis looks good. Check out some of the drafts when he ran the Jets, yuck.
I remember Turner being touted as a sleeper by a couple of moron fin fans on here. And its was easy to see where Pat White was headed. The gay trolls tried to tell us he was going to make the wildcat that much better.
Dorrian Boose, Scott Frost, Alex Van Dyke, there are a bunch more, unfortunately the only one he hit on is now playing for the Steelers.
Didnt he also draft Bobby Carpenter from Ohio St. in the 1st round when he was in charge of the Cowboys? Carpenter was just cut by the Rams.
