  3. Yeah no way mankin s becomes a jet unless the Pats release him which they won't.

Mankins is a great player but I'm not sure if he'd fit into Callahan's ZBS, as he's more of a straight ahead man-up blocker, who has athleticism but isn't reallt a lateral guy.

It doesn't matter anyway b/c unless he hits free agency he will never be a Jet.

Why does running a blog make him a good player?

OP...next time you have a thought...keep it to yourself. It's better to be silent and thought ignorant than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt.

ANd he can keep doing that.

We just don't want him starting threads like the one above.

You realize everyone bitching about this thread is the only thing keeping it active? Move along if you don't like the idea, attacking the poster doesn't solve anything.

I really don't get this site sometimes. I doubt Mankins will be a Jet anytime soon, but is it really necessary to have 15 guys start bashing someone's hypothetical question??? It's not like the guy suggested trading Sanchez for Brady.

NE has a disgruntled Pro-Bowl guard who wants to be traded. Left Guard is or most glaring problem right now... Stranger things have happened in football.

Donovan McNabb was traded to the Redskins, Wes Welker was traded to NE, and Jason Taylor was signed by the Jets.

Really no need to pile on this guy for bringing up a scenerio like this.

We're not attacking for thinking that Mankins might be traded to the Jets, it's that he thinks Slaston and VAL aren't cutting it.

You cannot compair Mankins to McNabb or Taylor.. they are much older and their teams had ppl to replace them. Mankins is 28 and is going to be around for a long time.. barring injury..

You need to let the OP understand that posting the first thing that comes to your mind just clutters the board, especially if it is completely irrational.

Some ppl on the board do it more colorfully than others.. But in all honestly, this isn't madden, you don't just go through your depth chart, look for the lowest rated guy, and trade for a top player..

You have to let things work out, and give it time..

If it's clutter people are worried about, then they should leave it alone. I am not here to defend anyone, and that other guy posting the picture can suck my big dick. This site just becomes unreadable sometimes.

Your argument about not comparing the players doesn't even make sense. Wes Welker was traded in his prime, and QB's can play into their late 30's easy-- it's not like McNabb is an old washed up bum. I brought up Taylor just to show that stranger things have happened in football.

Here is the problem. Out of 40 replies to this post, only a handful even have to do with football.
