Any word on his contract situation? Are we even close to signing this kid? Forgive me if this has been posted already, could not find anything.
From the Post tonight Jets No. 1 draft pick, cornerback Kyle Wilson, has not signed, but expect him to be in the fold by Saturday, according to an NFL source. The signing of Wilson, the 29th overall pick in the Draft, should be easy based on the fact the 27th and 28th overall picks are signed. The Patriots signed former Rutgers cornerback Devin McCourty, the 27th overall pick, to a five-year contract worth $13.2 million with $7.825 million in guarantees. The Dolphins signed Jared Odrick, the 28th overall pick, to a five-year, $13 million deal with including $7.1 million guaranteed. That should have Wilson at five years, about $12.6 million, including $6.8 million guaranteed.
Tannenbaum will have him in by training camp. His record is excellent with the exception of a greedy little bitch with a hold out at all costs agent.......lol
He's doing well. He says hi. The Twitter thread says that he should have his contract done very very soon
I just read this a little while ago on SNY's Jets Blog page "Lisa Zimmerman is reporting [CBS, Twitter] via a source that a deal between the Jets and first-round pick Kyle Wilson could be in place as early as tonight."
For those that don't know, here's his website: http://www.teamkdub.com/ And surviveone is Kyle's brother Vince Wilson.
and again I will point out, I love the team k-dub site. It's going to become an excellent collection of Jets news in a very short time. It seems that any article with a mention of Kyle Wilson is going to be placed there, including interviews and post-game press conferences. So that says to me, its going to become when heck of a compilation site, since Wilson is going to be mentioned an awful lot this season, partly because of his play, and partly because he was a top pick this year.
Do the right thing and include the source. Unless you are the source.... http://www.nypost.com/p/blogs/jetsblog/jets_check_with_revis_about_holding_rHJ56rA6FaAMNDpA2GnypK
Speaking of CB's Jenkins is puting his 2 cents in, regarding Revis.... You have to understand that this defense did a very good job of getting along without me being there, and me coming back, it's humbled me tremendously," Jenkins told host Michael Kay of ESPN 1050 in New York. "I know this isn't the type of team I can be on and act like the center of attention. "With Revis, it's the same thing. ... We definitely have the talent to go and keep on achieving our goals if Revis is going to be absent. I would love to see Revis there, but if not we have to keep on fighting." http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/25323/jenkins-jets-can-win-without-revis

http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/jets/ The Jets have agreed to a five-year deal with first-round pick Kyle Wilson, according to a source. The max value of the contract is nearly $13 million with more than $7 million guaranteed. Wilson, the 29th overall pick, is expected to bolster the league’s top-ranked defense from a year ago with his aggressive, man-to-man coverage skills. He’s slated to be the team’s starting nickel cornerback. Wilson will be a part of arguably the best cornerback trio in the league along with All-Pro Darrelle Revis and former Pro Bowler Antonio Cromartie. The New Jersey native was the final member of the Jets’ four-man 2010 draft class to get a deal done. Read more: http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/jets/#ixzz0vK2czGX1
