I'm concerned about the kicking too. You can put a great team and season together and have it ruined by a bad kicker, it's happened a million times. We had a good kicker too, I don't like the move.
I liked Feely and was dissapointed we let him go but realistically he did miss kicks when we needed them, regular season and playoffs. Lets not forget that. With that said, every kicker is going to miss here or there it all depends if they can really hit them when you need em. I'm all for giving Folk a shot at regaining his form and coming off an injury. Until he fucks up he has my support.
Feely didn't miss that much. Like you said, everyone misses a few, he made most of his kicks and was usually clutch. Even punted and made tackles in a pinch.

Yeah your right and that is why I'm upset we let him go but we had to give him up to get another player, granted it was JT it was still a move the FO thought needed to happen or else I don't think it would've. I loved the guy for coming in and punting and his desire to make plays normal kickers wouldn't but he did miss kicks in the AFCCG vs the Colts. Lets not give him an out for that because if any other player would've did that we wouldn't give him an out.
Hey Thierry Henry is in town!! That's a soccer player from france who was once Footballer of the Year for the world for those of you who don't know. He is playing for New York Red Bull and they have no games on sundays. He's faster than most kickers as it is and will tackle returners by sliding into their ankles
Brad Smith is also practicing his kicking skills. So we will be covered no matter what. Thanks God, I was worried for a minute. I read that Smith only Folked one kick up and the rest were golden.
I realize he missed a couple at Indy but we lost that game because we couldn't stop Manning and the Colts WRs in the second half, and we couldn't run the ball without Greene. If Feeley made those kicks Peyton Manning would have completed another bomb or two if necessary, Feeley didn't cost us the game. He made the one at Foxboro to win us that game in OT in 2008, a few others that slipped my mind but were huge. Henry is French, he would surrender as soon as he saw a large man with a helmet coming towards him.
