You've made it about yourself more than once in this thread.

I'm fully aware of your stance on Sanchez.

This is fucking ridiculous. No one can post a thread about Mark Sanchez without it turning into a multi-page argument concerning whether Sanchez or Chad Henne is a better quarterback.

The Dolphins' win percentage in games started by Chad Henne last year was .500, with Henne's QB rating at 75.2. The Jets' win percentage in playoff games started by Mark Sanchez last year was .667, with Markie's QB rating at 92.7. Or perhaps I'm not being clear enough: Miami, did you enjoy your trip to Indianapolis in January? Or San Diego? Or Cincinnati? Wait, what the fuck, did you guys even make the playoffs? Didn't you have a clear path to the wild card, but your amazing savior QB Chad Henne choked? In three consecutive games? Suck it.

^^^ Don't bother, they're typical trolls and don't see facts.

They think Henne carried the team up until they lost 3 in a row which if they had won they would've been in the playoffs. Yeah right up until then Henne carried them, but he gets a break after that point. lol

    It's pointless-

sooo you are going to complain about turning this into a debate ... and then continue debating?!?!?!

btw it just makes you look silly when you try to compare a winning percentage just in the playoffs compared to another QBs whole season ... just sayin

I'm just saying no it doesn't, not when it matters most.

let the team carry him around forever if he can blast out 134.5 QB rating every time I'm on board.

Another articles recently published showed that better looking QB's are also better QB's. You have a ugly ass QB,.....just sayin.

Henne got no help from the "wildcat". His numbers only improved when Ronnie Brown went out..

I don't get the whole "he didn't carry the team" argument. As long as Rex is our coach he will NEVER carry this team, wether he plays lights-out or not. It's not our style.

If he is carrying the team it's because we're down to our 3rd string running back or losing by 3 TD's in the 4th quarter...or both.

Sure. I've heard of the Tooth Fairy too. Doesn't mean I believe in it.

I was just pointing out that you could say the Sophomore Slump was his Rookie Wall.

    ^ Fair enough.

Whatever we call it I'm glad he had the oppurtunity to push through it in the playoffs. If we had finished 8-8 with no postseason this would be a totally different offseason conversation.

I'm not ashamed to say it: "Thanks Jim Caldwell."

Fantastic! All you've shown is that Sanchez had a typical rookie season. But what QB in the modern era (1960-current) had a better postseason than the one that Sanchez just had. I'll give you a hint it's less than 1.

Would it be safe to say that if Sanchez improves the Jets are a more complete and formidible offense than last season?

I fully expect Sanchez to improve. He has put in the time and has admitted to knowing more than he did last year. He also has better pieces in the receiving corps.

I'm not giving Sanchez the keys to the car just yet but fully expect him to be able to drive without wrecking the vehicle.
