You can say that but since Miami had a total of ONE win more last season then the Dick Jauron, 20 guys on IR, Trent Edwards led team last year, then you should probably say Miami Sucks as well

ANd how many did we have on IR? Answer that bison man. ANd what did your team do to improve? All Miami did was add Mike Nolan, Karlos Dansby, Richie Ingognito, Cory Proctor, resign Pennington, drafted Koa "missile" Misi, Jarred Odrick, John Jerry, oh and I forgot, signed Brandon Marshall.
Your offensive line is as pourous as a cast net, and your defensive line couldnt stop my sons pee wee rushing attack, and your QB is Trent Edwards. Enough said. BUFFALO BLOWS!!!!!!!! :buffaloblows:

Richie Incognito is hardly anything to brag about. He was let go from that shitty Bills o-line you speak of! Your draft picks shouldn't be mentioned until they get on the field and do something. Resigning Pennington is no great accomplishment either. Whoop de doo, you resigned your backup QB.

like return the opening kickoff to the house against you guys? lol

I loved the Spiller pick, i think he will make us a team on the rise. He will get a good 10-15 oppurtunities a game including a few rushes, lining up as the slot receiver and kick returner! Seems to be a good kid, has his priorities straight and is a God-fearing man. Once he validates himself as a threat to opposing defenses, that will take some pressure off Edwards, Ecans, Nelson, Stevie J and others.

Pennington is a great leader weather he's on the field or not. You guys know that just as much as we do.

Notice the Bills O-line started there lackluster play AFTER Ingcognito was let go.

And if I cant list draftees, then ok, fair enough. Nolan, Marshall, Dansby, Douglas, Proctor.

The Jets have improved tremendously under Ryan. How could anyone who watches NFL football have the NYJets "on the fall"?? That's just flat out stupidity...

We have taken steps to improve our D-line dramatically. Dwan Edwards, Troupe, Kyle Williams, Stroud, and Carrinton will be the rotation. Thats good, damn good! Our O-line isnt bad as people think, we started essentially 4 rookies last year and 2 of them: Eric Wood and Andy Levitre will be sominant guards for the next 10 years. I was frustarted that we didnt upgrade the LT position but i guess Gailey/Nix see something in Karl Malone's son that i dont. Trent Edwards is better then Chad Henne and now we have a head coach that made Thigpen look like a star QB so dont write off Edwards yet.

Oh and congrats for being the paper free agent signing champs. Again you finished with an impressive one extra win then we did last year

um, you mean this offseason the Bills have been lackluster? Incognito is a turd. He was let go by the Rams, then the Bills, but now that he's wearing teal and orange he's somehow supposed to be great. c'mon.

woaaaah ... I can at least see the Jet fans argument when we have this discussion with Henne and Sanchez, but are you talking about the same Edwards that's gonna get beat out by Brian Brohm?

He was let go because of his anger management issues, not because he isn't any good.

I can't believe you are bragging about having Marques Douglas on a Jets message board...

Also, I hope to god you don't think Richie Icognito and Cory Procter are even close to being starting material at guard. You guys will have a revolving door at right guard this year with either one of those clowns starting.

I like what Miami's done with their linebacking corps, but they won't get top level production out of any of those players with that defensive line. There's absolutely no depth at end or nose tackle.

couldn't agree more. not to mention that we don't have a proven pass rusher. I'm kinda worried, hopefully we can make it through training camp at least without any more injuries along the line.

So 2 teams with 2 of the worst o-lines in the league let him go because of anger management issues. Either those are extreme anger management issues or he's just not that good. Sometimes players talents don't justify putting up with their retardedness which can be the only explanation of teams with the worst o-lines in the business just letting them go.

Let's not pretend like he's some big upgrade because he's not. He will likely end up being let go by the Fins too.

What? Really? I see a lot of people in this thread praising MD for being good against the run. Now that he's wearing aqua and orange, he's no good?
Starks played at a pro bowl level last year at DE, now that he was moved to NT, his numbers will go down but he will draw double teams every week, thus opening it up for Dansby and Crowder in the middle.

Douglas will only be on the field on first downs, as Jarred Odrick is very good against the pass. And Langford is solid at LDE.

Let me take you back to to the first half of the 08 season where Edwards was a top 10 QB and Jauron hadnt really messed him up yet. I truly believe that under Gailey, Edwards can go back to the way he played in 08. The new westcoast style offense we will be runing should help Edwards. We have the receievrs and playmakers for it. Oh and Edwards played well in his rookie season of 07 as well. So lets see how Sanchez and Henne do afater a year of experience and when the rest of the NFL knows how to prepare for them before we annoint them great.

As far as Brohm beating out Edwards, wont happen. He has done nothing to distinguish himself so far and the tape Iv'e watched from OTA'S shows Brohm struggling and even being outplayed by Fitz. I think even if Gailey thinks its a tie between Edwards and Brohm after TC, Edwards would still be the winner. Brohm has a sever confidence problem.
