player contracts sucks player contracts are getting totally ridiculous...everyone wants to be the highest paid player...which goes up almost every contract..revis will be the "next one" ..and hell be the best for half of that deal till someone else is better..and then so on and so on....if asomugha has a better year then revis...he could complain that he wants to be the highest paid player....UGHHH this irritates me to death

I don't get why people post if they think a thread is a waste of time - just get out of the thread, why waste more time posting. The problem is that when a player has a good year, he wants his contract reworked for more money to appropriately represent his value, however, the team has no recourse on players that are given enormous contracts but fail to produce...cannot reduce their pay to appropriately reflect the player's value. I'd be pissed if I was an owner/gm.

The "Real" Reason Revising Wants a New Contract There will be a strike next year and the measles 1million this year is in no way going to allow him to maintain his lifestyle.... serious times were in and if I was someone of his stature in the NFL I would go as hard as he is going too.... !
