Definitely go the TV option or the official streams if you can afford it. Illegal streams are very unreliable and are usually pretty shit.
Official streams...ok...what am I missing? What official streams? Are they on www.nfl.com ANYTHING has got to be better than DirectTV's costs...sorry folks, out here in CA, and it's just not cost effective to fly to the east coast for their home games. I don't mind paying a little...but what DirecTV is charging is highway robbery. The Mezz...
Official streams I think have to have a non-USA country IP origin. So you could probably do it by using a an IP proxy.
The only problem with bars is I can never hear the damn games. They play them super low or there's too much activity going on in the bar.
I used stealthshot last year and had solid HD streams for every game. Works in PS3 browser set up and straight to my HD TV. I may well fork out for the official NFL stream this year as you can replay the games and get access to very game if I pay a little more
I was a Directv subscriber for the last 12 years with Sunday Ticket the entire time. When I called to cancel the entire service (last month) for price issues they did not offer me squat. I am now a happy Dish network customer paying almost half of what I was paying DTV, with more DVR's, HD for life etc. - and then add the cost of the Sunday Ticket which I am now saving. Only a couple of days after I made the switch and cancelled did the phne calls start trying to get be back - too late. Even if I got to a sports bar and drink/eat all I want on all non televised games I will still be way ahead. Fck you Directv.
Again guys, you will not be disappointed with Stealthshot, 2 HQ streams 1 SD stream and it won't cost you more then 5 bucks a month that's 1.25 a game watched at home with affordable beer and food, in your own chair....... An although there may be some" Hard Knocks" I again tell you you will not be sorry and it will be the best 5 bucks you spend all season
It is costly, but the way I look at it...16 games for $300..about $18 a game. I would spend that much in beer money the first half for me and the wife. Plus dragging the Kids to a bar is not fun. If you have a buddy who gets the ticket with superfan have him give you his online HD feed..
I've never understood the complaint that the Sunday Ticket is robbery. This year it is $300 for an entire season of every game in HD. It is one of the great products out there. I remember what it was like before ST and having to spend money at a sports bar or settle for whatever sh*t was showing on the local networks. I will NEVER get rid of DirecTV for this sole reason (but in general I like DTV's service and products).
If I were a out of town Jet fan, I think I'd have to get the ticket. It's without a doubt worth it, if you really are a big Jet fan. Just saying, I do think that DTV having exclusive rights to it is BS. The NFL could be cleaning up, when is the contract up??
Just re-upped last year through 2014. The NFL is a private business. They are free to negotiate broadcasting contracts as they see fit, though I'ma bitch about it too. Rant: I paid my $400 last year for ST in HD and DVR'd all the games with plans to rewatch during the offseason. Well, my DVR reset itself 6 weeks in, so I lost those games. I called to complain and they said that nothing on the DVR is guaranteed per my contract, which turned out to be true. Then at the end of the season, I suspended my account b/c football is really the only thing I need live TV for...well guess what...the DVR doesn't work unless your account is open. So I got fucked twice and paid $400 for the privilege. I hope they and the NFL invested my cheddar wisely, because I now have no compunction to pay for their "services" ever again. Thank goodness my new apartment has a porch that faces north, though I won't find out until September whether or not they will try to charge me for their inability to provide service at my new address.
I had Yahoo gamepass last year, and they still owe me ALOT of money for something I wasn't able to eventually use. NEVER ever again. Jets 'N' Boys came to the rescue last season and can't thank him enough. If I can't see the games live, it just drives me insane, seriously . It has to one of the worst feelings in my life, Jets game on and I can't see it. Re; TYT, can someone link me to the Chargers game and the Oakland games please?? I have some links for the SD game, but all they do is just queue.
I love the Red zone channel but not to watch Jet games, as an additonal TV to watch all the other games. Its either Sunday ticket, a bar on EPSN interactive which does play by play using text. You are basically a slave to Sunday ticket if you are out of town and want to watch the Jets. I heard its now over $300 for the season. A lot more then it was, but divided by 17 weeks still $20 or so per Sunday. If you lived in NYand had it to watch other games, then I would say FU to them and get the Red Zone like I have, but if I am a Jet fan that lives out of town, then I would not think twice on spending $20-$30 per week to watch the Jets. Its possible that out of towners will be the only people watching Jet home games if they don't sell out.
I can't see the Mon night game not selling out. Ravens fans will be coming up the TP in droves, they travel well.
