Manish Mehta: Half man, half god, half...possible centaur, I'm not sure. All I know is that I wish he was my dad.
I havent looked at this thread to see what yall said in a day or two. Im serious about what I said though, do a search on any thread with MM's articles and theirs always 10 guys saying MM's great and then add nothing else. How much longer do we all have to read this shit before it stops? I like his articles the best too, I agree he's the best we got but to read it in every thread is dumb.
Just hope McKnight allows us to finally get rid of little Rudy. Really got tired of him being caught from behind or taken down by a finger tackle.
^ ...I wonder who's going to fill in for Santonio Holmes during those first four games. No more bitching about Leon Washington.
I think that is a development for the future. He's most likely going to get minimal time in the slot - we might even see him there during the first 4 games. But after 2010, we'll likely keep one of the Edwards/Holmes duo, and if McKnight can work the slot in addition to being a COP runner for Greene, that's a badass option logistically.
Reggie Bush has been a damn good player in the pros. It bothers me that people can't see that. He's not a true running back, but he's a dangerous, versatile playmaker. Hopefully McKnight can have a similar role.
Agreed. No knock on Reggie, i'm just hoping for McNight to outshine him in the pros like Reggie did in college.
i think mcknight can be just as dangerous as reggie he, has the burst and the speed but i have noticed he does get chaced down from behind a bit, but there is no doubt in my mind he can step in for Leon and decent job.
I didn't see many USC games over the past years, so how is this guys hands? Just hope he doesn't have the rookie jitters, and makes some jaw dropping..drops with no defenders around him. BTW Saw Schotty on SNY Wheel-House yesterday. Schotty was blowing McKnight on TV..Basically saying his receiving abilities are standing out on the practice field.
