They need to get Sanchez on an episode of Entourage. That would be huge. If you can get Tom Brady on the show fighting with Turtle about the Giants, the Jets would be killer.

They need to cast a really good Don Shula for the "I can't fuckin believe we just lost to these guys" scene.

Namath played the lead in "Damn Yankee" during the summer of 1981 (Off-Broadway play) at the Jones Beach Theater.

Grenier is a pretty shitty actor. It's pretty ironic that he plays a super-famous actor on Entourage, yet, he's the worst actor in that entire cast.

That was the funniest ever for us folks who saw it. The damm QB's kness are arthertic from his playing days. Well the damp salt air at the outdoor Jones Beach Theater was too much for old joe and he could barely walk. He did not want to use a cane so he held onto the dressor, the chair, the lamp, etc. Bascially he held on for dear life took a couple of steps to a new postion grabbed on to a new object and repeat.

Real funny stuff, should be in movie.

I could see Brian Dennehy playing Weeb. Give Flacco a chance at some acting chops to play Earl Morrall. He's got the look and it would sure give the old Baltimore fans something to gloat about.

I really don't know why, but I totally dig the Dana Gordon character/chick in this show.

Somehow I find it hard to believe that Namath had anything to do with the casting...

Uhh no one said he did...

Edit: I see the post now. I'll reserve judgments until the movie comes out.

namath and the jets single-handedly turned the super bowl into the big publicity, money, revenue, and national holiday it turned into after super bowl 3.

plus, show me any other jet qb who brought us a trophy and a ring.
