Nothing like living in the past, fin fans no nothing else but. Funny you mention the number '3', that would be one less than the number of Dolphin players that have been arrested already this off season. Wasn't the last thug arrested for beating up a pregnant chick? Nice...

I'm not living in the past. I'm being as recent as physically possible. The last 3 times we have played the Jets, we've won. How is that living in the past?

And all the good teams from Miami have all had a little bad side to them. If it's anything like the University of Miami when they were winning national championship after NC with all those Thug U pro bowl ballers, I'll take it. Last time I checked, the meaner the football player the better in a lot of cases. It's not exactly a soft little sport we're talking about here.

And what happened the 5 meetings before that? (we won all five)

If the only thing you can hang your hat on is the fact that you beat the Jets 3 in a row, then you must not have very high expectations...like actually winning a playoff game...which btw you haven't done in 10 years.

It happens. What else can I say? We haven't been great the last 10 years. But at least it's a 10 year span for my team and not a 40+ whatever your team has been around. Hearing playoff cries from Jets fans is pretty hysterical, honestly. I mean the 'Fins have won double the playoff games the jets have in their history. Double the championships. And more then 7-times the division titles as the Jets.

    Really, that's hysterical.

Are you seriously trying to justify this dude beating on his pregnant girlfriend? It's okay because he plays a tough contact sport? Are you serious? Assaulting a pregnant woman is not a display of toughness dude, nor does it reflect in any way, shape or form onto his mettle as a football player. It's a bitch move.

I guess Santonio Holmes throwing a glass at a woman in a nightclub makes him a meaner player too.

yea cause I would equate what it takes to succeed as a professional football player to getting your cock sucked and never going to class at Coral Gables.

    great comparison.

while your at it hire Butch Davis to coach you. THE U!!!!!!!!!!

no what you fail to understand is all your players getting arrested are average to begin with, with the exception of Ronnie Brown.

when your average and out getting arrested in the offseason it says alot about your work ethic and even more about how serious you take your career as a pro athlete.

also in Ronnie Browns case, the guy is probably the best player on your team, great example to set.

I love watching Phin fans piss and moan about us sliding into the playoffs when all they had to do was show up the final 3 weeks and theyd have been in.

    cry me a fucking river.

the phins will contend this year though, they were solid last year, just highly inconsistent.

and for all the hooplah about losing 3 straight to you, i like it. by the time 08 came I got bored and expecting of a W over the phins this last 10-12 years.

now when youve stocked up and gotten better, I dont want any more excuses, no more only if we had a WR who could catch, Henne this that, its his 3rd yr in the league.

ill end my rant on a positive note, I think Henne looks legit long as he stops choking when it matters.

we'll see. this will be a good division to keep an eye on for even the casual fan this year.

dude, lay off the crack pipe, you beat ryans defense once last season, the second time, the wildcat was nowhere to be found, and you had 120 yards of total offense, t.ginn [gone] and j.taylor [gone] beat us the second time.

now your gonna try and defend thugs???????????

and lets talk 'RECENTLY' the dolphins have beatin us 3 in a row.

in 2009 the dolphins were 7-9, the jets 9-7.

    we were in the afccg.

the dolphins havent won a playoff game since 01 [double check that]

the dolphins were 1-15 just 3 seasons ago, i repeat, the dolphins were 1-15 just 3 seasons ago.

while being a good team on paper doesnt mean a whole lot, why dont you go argue w/espn, las vegas, e.c.t, cause they all have us as one of the favorites to win it all.

when the hell was the last time the dolphins were one of the favorites to win it all?

You sound just like a Yankee fan when we KNEW the Sox were better than us and all we could do about it was talk about the past. Again, if you want to win 3 games against the Jets and call it a success, cool. I'll take the AFC championship game.

no doubt i would take a team sweeping us, if it meant we had a chance to win the sb, and the team that swept us didnt even make the playoffs, or have a winning record for that matter.

    Fixed your post

It's really pathetic that you are hanging your hat on the current status of your team on seasons of yesteryear. Plus I doubt you were even born during that undefeated season...no one cares about what you did in the 70's and 80's.

Last time I checked its been about 39 years since your team won a Superbowl so you're not that far off from us...but you view success as having more playoff wins than us...great.

We still own the head 2 head record.

Doesn't matter they beat the Jets twice last year!!! TWICE!!! That means their season was a success.

Half the crap you guys say about your team last year is pointless to me. 1) We beat you. If you were the better team, you had the chance right then and there to prove it. But you didn't. You lost to us twice. Last year, head to head, the Dolphins were a better team. Period, the end of that discussion. Had you split with us, sure, no problems then. But you didn't. Why? Because we beat you, despite your best shot.

    2) You say you had a winning record and made the playoffs. Well gee, that's funny. Yeah, you did, but I kinda remember two teams laying down against you guys in 2 MUST win games for the Jets to allow that to happen. Or am I wrong?

Cincinnati had already clinched a playoff birth. You can't tell me they actually tried to win that game against you guys in week 16 where they never even intended on showing up? Can you? I mean Carlson Palmer only completed 1 (one) pass against you! Am I wrong? (Although you proved you were the better team once they gave you their best shot anyways)

The Colt's: Now this is where "it really doesn't get any easier then that" comes in. The Colt's straight up smoked the Jets in the AFC championship game. Their offense put up damn near 400 yards through the air with 3 TD and 0 INT's, and they ran for over 100 yards against your # 1 D, compiling close to 500 yards of total offense on their way to walking away to an easy win! Am I wrong again?

Clearly, (I'll say it again for the blind) clearly had the Colt's not taken out their starters and 2nd string players, the regular season game would have looked something very similar to this. It wasn't like it was a close game where it was decided by a few close plays here or there that 'could have gone either way'. It was a straight up "our defense can't stop them!"

So say what you want to help you sleep at night. It doesn't bother me. But at best last year's Jets team was 8-8. .500 And only playing in the post season because another team allowed you in.

But like the old Peyton Manning saying goes.... "Peyton really is a god".."He gave the Jets life, and then he took it right back"...(when it actually mattered).

Your an idiot. You should be banned for trolling. You are proof that most Miami Dolphin fans are fucking clueless when it comes to this sport.

Like someone said earlier, the Niners swept the Cardinals last year. Still the Cardinals were the better football team.

The second game was pretty much a gift, the same gift we got from the Colts week 16. Don't be too happy about it.

What are your fuckin excuses for the Jets not only going into Cinci but San Diego also and beating those 2 division winners on the road in the playoffs? Explain that.

Good job on finishing with your 7-9 record and a non-playoff appearance. You still beat us twice so your clearly the much better team. What about the last 3 weeks of the season were the Phins laid down and choked their season away ? 2 of the 3 games where in your home stadium, and 2 of the teams we had beaten earlier in the season ? Please what are your excuses ?

I'll keep telling you what you wanna hear if that gets you to go back to the scum of the internet message boards that you call FinHeaven.
