Miami Dolphins are not concerned by New York Jets' moves By Armando Salguero asalguero@MiamiHerald.com Read more: http://www.miamiherald.com/2010/05/28/1653815/fins-not-concerned-by-jets-moves.html#ixzz0pHOv6UiB This Armando Salguero guy is a clown. It's hilarious to say The Miami Beat Writers should kiss the Jets ass everyday. Without them these clowns wouldn't have anything to write about. You woulda thought we sweeped the Phins by the way 99% of Phin fans act.
I love that an article talking about the Jets and Dolphins' chances to win the AFC East spent less than 2 sentences writing about football. And I don't get that the Jets are apparently this trash-talking arrogant bunch, when he quotes a Dolphag who says "I'm not going to say no other team is better than us." Salguero, you're a joke. You're a hack. I can tell you one thing--the Jets definitely have better beat writers than the Dolphins, that's for sure.
Funny how we don't talk about the Dolphins, never, ever, just about our own team but the Dolphins are obsessed by us. What does that tell you. The whole article was sarcastic commentary on the Jets confidence and then he kinda glanced over how we both sucked going into December and the Jets happen to win 2 games and played good in the playoffs. Like, oh btw, after everything I said, the Jets got on a roll and made it to the Championship game and their rookie QB grow up real fast and they backed up everything they said and the Dolphins went into the tank... now back to mocking the Jets for acting confident. "These two teams got into a debate about offseason championships last year. That discussion was meaningless as both stumbled into December. Then the Jets finished with two consecutive victories and played well in the playoffs, and Miami slumped with three season-ending losses".
Does anyone else find it a little bit weird that in his article about how the Jets are taking the Dolphins lightly, he quotes Dolphins, none of which takes the Jets seriously?
And one last thing, because I'm a glutton for punishment: in the two games, Braylon had 9 catches, 138 yards and 2 touchdowns. In what planet is that "shut down?" That's what Revis allows in two months.
The Dolphins have quietly signed 2 of the top 15 free agents, and heavily speculated (with the recent departure of Smiley and Torbor) to sign a 3rd. One being a top 5 WR in the NFL, the other being the best LB available, and possibly signing the best safety available (and a top 5 at that). All three big needs. Very underrated offseason in the media spectrum. For a team that realistically finished 1 game behind the Jets in the regular season, and beat the NY twice, I wouldn't exactly scoff at the dolphins. Also, I'm pretty sure even the fans in Miami think that Salguero is batshit insane.
10 bucks says Salqueero is a peeping tom that hangs out by Rex Ryans windows to watch him have sex. This guy is like some creepy douchy Jets stalker. How does this chicken hawk have a job?
Nothing I said was incorrect. Marshall was a RFA, and teams had the option to sign him. Lots of players sign their tenders in order to get moved. It's about facilitation. It would be somewhat similar to Lebron doing a sign and trade to facilitate a move. That doesn't mean he isn't a free agent, it just means he's exercising options in order to move. Nonetheless, it's largely irrelevant to the point. Quite honestly, your post has no point other than flexing internet bravado.
What is this guys deal? I mean I can't believe one of their main beat writers is this obsessed with a division rival. Get off the Jets nuts Salfago.
He was a RFA. Miami signed him. "The Dolphins have quietly signed 2 of the top 15 free agents, and heavily speculated (with the recent departure of Smiley and Torbor) to sign a 3rd. One being a top 5 WR in the NFL" Again, no matter how many names you call me, my quote is correct. Your arguing the most irrelevant point in the entire post emphatically. I find that strange.
Yeah it's semantics, like saying the Fins signed Marshall as a free agent when actually they didn't. Maybe the guy doesn't like intellectually dishonest Dolphin fans... yeah I know tough to comprehend that on a Jets board.
You forgot to mention in this post how the fins beat the Jets twice last year. I know you mentioned it in your first one but it seems every post by fin fans must legally mention it. That meant so much while the Jets were playing in the AFC title game, what were you doing that day?
The only reason he signed his tender was to be moved. Miami had the choice of trading a 1st or 2 2nds. They chose 2 2nds. It's really a silly argument stemming from a post that has absolutely nothing to do with what came of it. Are all the jets fans this sophomoric?
