So lets take a look at this..

Joey Porter, and Jason Taylor are gone(Nice Pass Rush guys). Ferg suspended for steroid use.
Will Allen arrested for DUI, and Ronnie Brown too.

Tony McDaniel arrested on misdemeanor battery charge after allegedly getting into fight with his girlfriend.

And now this Phillip Merling guy.

Hmm New York Jets had major personality issues I thought??

WESTON - Miami Dolphins backup defensive end Phillip Merling was due in magistrate court Thursday morning to face a domestic violence charge.

Merling, a second round draft pick in 2008, was arrested Wednesday in Weston, according to police records. He is facing one count of aggravated battery on a victim he should have known was pregnant, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office website.

Details on the incident were not immediately available.

Merling, a 25-year-old defensive end, is entering his third pro season after the Dolphins took him in the second round out of Clemson in 2008. He ranked 12th on the team with 33 total tackles last season and he was tied for fifth with 2.5 sacks.

The 6-foot-4, 305-pound Merling has made two starts in his Dolphins career, including the final game of the 2009 season against Pittsburgh. He is expected to compete with Jared Odrick, a 2010 first-round draft pick out of Penn State, for a starting job at right defense end.

With Merling's arrest, four Dolphins players have been arrested since early February. He joins defensive lineman Tony McDaniel (domestic battery), cornerback Will Allen (DUI) and running back Ronnie Brown (DUI).

The Dolphins' veteran minicamp begins Friday and runs through Sunday.

Messages left with the Dolphins and Jimmy Sexton, Merling's agent, were not immediately returned.

Whats going on in Miami? That's 4 since February. I think Cinci is getting worried about loosing it's rep (lawless Scum of NFL) to Miami.

Well, I'm no prison expert, but I hear that beating up pregnant women or kids will get your anus wrecked in prison. That or they'll flick your balls.

I don't understand it either, but apparently they feel that thieves and murderers of men are of a higher moral standing.
