No, you should post those stats. Actually I'll do it for you.

Jets vs. Dolphins all time series.. Jets have the advantage, 46-42-1.

And since you didn't answer the other question, I'll answer it for you. The last time the Dolphins won a playoff game was 2000. The last time they made the AFC Championship game was 1992.

Congrats on going to the AFC championship game last year and coming home with nothing. You realize your team hasn't played in the game that matters most in over 40 years?!!?!! Have you ever even seen your team play in a superbowl? You don't win a title for 'playing' in the AFC championship game and getting blown out and giving up damn near 500 yards of total offense, last time I checked.

And I'll give you that. But I'll raise you these.

    -Playoff Appearances - Dolphins 22, Jets 12
    -Playoff Wins - Dolphins - 20, Jets 10
    -Superbowl Appearances - Dolphins 5, Jets 1
    -Superbowl Victorys - Dolphins 2, Jets 1
-AFC Championships Won - Dolphins 5, Jets 1
-AFC East Division Championships - Dolphins 14, Jets 2 :)breakdance:)
    -All Time Record - Dolphins - 387-281 (58%)
    -All Time Record -Jets - 340-408 (44%)

    - Losing seasons - Jets - 21, Dolphins - 10

You want to go back in time? OK.

WINS SINCE 1970 - Present day

    - NY Jets - 264
    - Miami Dolphins - 372 (Most wins in the NFL)

Or you could just look at it like this..

The Dolphins could just go 0-16 for the next 8+ years, and the Jets go an undefeated 16-0 for every single one of those years and the J-E-T-S would have still LOST more games then the Dolphins have in their franchise! That's almost a decade worth of straight LOSING!

wait so its all about statistics again right? So Brandon Marshall can be on the Raiders his entire career, and have shitty Qbs right? Say he never hits 1000 yards. Would he be a #1? By your logic no, because his stats wouldnt be so pretty.

Atleast our FO has found talent in the draft, and hasnt had to go out and buy a #1 wr.

Hey buddy you wanna talk about past history? The Jets have beaten the Dolphins more times than the Dolphins have beaten the Jets.

Or we can refer back to the last season that we just played and stop living in the past when the Jets with their rookie head coach and rookie QB reached the AFC Championship game while the Phins had their team shit the bed the last 3 games of the season, 2 of which were at home.

Wait.. so which is it. Is it more important to beat your rival, like you claim with the whole "won the last 3" nonsense? Or is it more important to win more games and make the playoffs? You're contradicting yourself.

You said "when was the last time the jets beat the Dolphins" like that was the #1 thing. Then I showed the Jets have beaten the Dolphins more than vice versa. Then you throw out all these stats saying how the Dolphins having more wins overall is more important, yet it isn't better when the Jets have more wins in a season and make the playoffs?

Listen guys it's more important to beat your division rivals than it is to go into the playoffs.

Congrats on having a hall of fame QB in Marino and not winning a damn thing. Congrats on making the playoffs last year and getting blown out by the Ravens. Congrats on missing the playoffs last year.

The Jets' history has been plagued with bad management, bad decisions, and especially bad drafts. Take a look at the past five years or so. The Jets have had some of the best drafts in the NFL with players such as Revis, Mangold, Ferguson, Harris, Keller, Sanchez, Greene, but also FA signings or trades such as Scott, Holmes, Edwards, LT, JT, Jenkins, and others. And while we still had some bad coaches in Herm and Eric, we have that ironed out now with Ryan and Co. Want proof? AFC Championship game in first year. Compare that to the Dolphins coach of 1 and done in the playoffs.

You can bring up the history all you want. The fact is that your history isn't going to win you any games. Its all about the present and future. And from where I see things, that belongs to the Jets.

What if the playoffs ends in a SB win??

In a bad year I'd agree but if we win or even go deep the division is in the rear view mirror.

    30-17 isn't a blowout. It's barely a two TD game.

FYI The Colts lost to the saints by the same score, that wasn't considered a blowout?

Anyway, We gave up that many because we had injuries to key players. Jenkins was out all season, Bart Scott was injured in the Bengals game and couldnt last past the first quarter. Strickland got hurt mid game, and Lito Sheppard was complete ass, and Lowery got torched.

So what did the Jets do?

They get a guy who can (hopefully) rush the passer aside from pace.
    they pick up cromartie
they pick up wilson in the draft...

not to mention Holmes and a year of development for Sanchez.. Yeah, the Jets past hasn't been brilliant, but that can change. Rex Ryan is the reason that can change.

    Who cares about the past??

The Phins won 2 Super Bowls and we won 1, that's all that matters.

Wow, 2 Super Bowl wins to our 1, what ever will we do?

    All-Time Series, NYJ leads 46-42-1.

You may have won 3 in a row but we won the previous 5 in a row.

I think it's a beautiful thing, actually. I've read more than a few Phin fans saying that they would rather beat the Jets twice than make the playoffs. Simply to console themselves. But I guess if it was a choice between beating a hated rival and getting blown out of the wildcard round, I would probably have to think about it too.

Dude you are making way too much sense for our dolphin friend here to comprehend...you need to dumb it down...they won the last 3 meetings so they are better...who cares about superbowls or playoff wins.

since you avoided the question, like a true dolphin fan...it was in 2000 (you probably didn't remember anyway) you haven't won a playoff game in a decade. Congrats on the last 3 wins against us...you really went far with that.

This block of shit only proves that you know how to use the internet and that thing called Google...<applauds>

You had arguably the most prolific passer in NFL history for 16 years and what did you win? Nothing.

And since Marino's departure what have you accomplished? 1 playoff victory.

They also have the most starting QBs in the span of time since Marino's departure. Something like 13 QBs in a 10 year span. Hahahahahahaha.

But...but...they beat the Jets 3 times in a row...that surely makes up for those years of QB failures.
