Even with everything that's coming out showing how this was pretty much blown out of proportion and is a non-issue, I think you're right. Holmes is a dumbass and is going to get in trouble again, eventually. It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when.
More speculation. I'm sure man will walk on the moon again too. He did was he was told to do. The guy still has a clean Jets slate.
It's not speculation, its a very valid point of view to take based on past indiscretions. To run with your analogy, which is God-awful by the way, man could walk on the moon again with no trouble if we felt so inclined. Holmes has shown that getting in trouble for being stupid (why the fuck would you put "wake and bake" on twitter where literally ANYONE can see it?) is not something that is beyond him. If he feels so inclined (ie lets his reasoning slips or just decides he doesn't care) there's no reason to believe he won't smoke weed or act up at a club again. And again, I just stated this was a non-issue. However, here we are talking about it and police were called. What should have been something simple was not. And what do you mean he has a clean Jets slate? Obviously you still like the guy, and that's fine. But it's not like the team suspending him is something we have to worry about; I'm fairly sure the league would intervene first. The Jets are making a run this, and I think they should be commended for this, and it would be stupid to suspend a guy (who probably on stays on the team for this season anyway) who can be instrumental in said run to prove a point/set an example.
Why don't you just say something concrete instead of just being pissy? If you don't like my point why don't you try acting like an adult and coming up with some kind of counter-argument? If you don't want to do that and would rather keep things immature and childish, I can play along. Poopy-head!
The fuck? There is literally no story here. Some flight attendant overreacted because he fell asleep before taking out his headphones attached to the iPod that wasn't on. He's been nothing but an exemplary team mate since he's gotten here according to Rex and Thurman. I don't see how WSW is right on this one when he complied with what he was told and didn't do something he wasn't told(take out the headphones). He's sitting on a plane and minding his own business. The people in charge decided to call the cops on him anyway, he willingly waits for them, and after answering their questions they decided he didn't do anything wrong. This is indicative of absolutely nothing. WSW is being an alarmist here.
All this because I said that I'm not surprised Holmes is back in the news. Dude is a pot smoker and will either fail another drug test or get in situations like this due to him being irritable. Once you get to the point of waking and baking, Mary Jane is apart of your life. Don't be upset with me due to the fact that one of your favorite players got in trouble again when you thought he wouldn't. Dude better clean his act up and avoid situations that may cause harm to himself or the Jets organization or he will be picking up a paycheck from another team. I'm sure any real Jet fan can empathize.
He didn't do shit. He may of been an asshole in the past, but what happened on Thursday night doesn't prove he is an asshole. He was told to turn his iPod off, and he did. He left his earphones in, and got harassed for it. Rules are you can't even have earphones in even if the device isn't on. He broke that rule, and probably didn't even know it existed. Jesus.
I'm pretty sure that his post had nothing to do with you being opinionated about Holmes and more about you being...
If this is the case, then it's no news. Why in the hell would the attendant call the cops though? I would have lost my lid if I were Sanburnio getting off the plane only to be escorted by cops for questioning.
it is the case the police confirmed thats what happened. i dunno why they called the police. good thing he hadn't 'lost his lid' when speaking with police.
