We should get one of these once a day all offseason. Some overblown "Jet thug" story that gives haters something to rant about til it's disproven at 5pm. Tune in tomorrow for "Braylon Edwards kicks a puppy off the Brooklyn Bridge"
Not if the commish gives him the rest of the year off. Now you know why the Steelers gave him away for a 5th rounder. It's the best they could have gotten. He'll be worth the pick IF he actually gets on the field....
Sorry Milo. A guy already facing a 4 game suspension who acts up anyway is trouble. You can try to shape it any way you want about haters and stuff being "overblown" but if the guy didn't act like an ass, there'd be nothing to call "overblown"
I don't think I'll ever be alarmed at someone getting pissed off at a flight attendant. The monster...
Totally agree...which is why I wrote 3 posts about what an ass he was. But at the end of the day it turned out to exactly that - "overblown"
It's too bad that every story is sensationalized by the media, but this guy needs to go above and beyond because there is bulls eye on guys like him with a rep.
I love how rival fans are clinging to this in hopes that Holmes gets suspended for the year. Patsfans and Homer Depot are comedy right now.
Edit the title of this thread please.. I can't look at that shit. By the way fuck flight attendants. I think Santonio just gained mass respect from Jets fans who fly all over the world for business. Oh wait Jason Taylor said those type of people aren't Jets fans. :breakdance:
apparently, it did not happen. ESPN is saying that he was not escorted off the plane. That he was asked to turn off the Ipod and he did. Hence, why the story in the first place?
Asked to turn of an Ipod and he complied... Yea, he's so gone at the end of the season. We cannot abide a locker room cancer like that.
It's a nothing story - it just goes to show he's gonna have to be on his guard. http://www.newyorkjets.com/news/articles/show/3682-allegheny-police-early-holmes-story-untrue
While Holmes is clearly a knucklehead, I don't see what it has to do with football. The worst thing he has been accused of is throwing a drink at some woman, an action that a bystander later admitted to doing. As far as his twitter posts or his idiocy on an airplane, as far as I'm concerned they are nonissues. If the idiotic head of the NFL spent more time worrying about the looming lockout then playing kindergarten teacher to grown men in the off season, the NFL would be better off.
