Jets fans are absolutely ecstatic to have your brother. Sounds like we got one hell of a family in the fold, too. The Wilsons sound like absolute pride and everything a family should be. Welcome to the board, and a HUGE welcome to your little bro.

you know what impresses me most about wilson, is his character. the guy was serious in his academics, and serious about achieving his career goals, while relentless in seeking them. he wasn't handed anything. he didn't get recruited by RU, a big mistake on their part. he had to market himself (with the help of his bros). he got in and still had to work. he worked hard and finally made a name for himself. The Jets should get credit for drafting a high character guy, a hard worker and tough competitor, a leader. Wilson should be commended for all of these intangibles aside from his football ability. it is annoying that the jets have been slandered for this and wilson has been wringfully misrepresented by the media hacks like gary meyers.
Havent we had a few other family members of players post on here in the past? In particular I believe Mikhael Ricks mom posted here for a while when he was trying to get a roster spot with us. She gave us the story behind why she used the different spelling of mikhael when she named him. Very cool Also if memory serves a little while ago, i thought I saw a poster with the name Drew Colemans Dad.... Either way, keep posting, it will be interesting to get some added insight from players families. btw I fully expect to see the Wilson RV decked out in Jets green around Cortland for TC this August!

The reason behind was so that he could truly have the nickname Mike. Technically the shortened version of Michael is Miche, or something like that. But the shortened version of Mikhael is Mike, which has sort of become the nickname for anybody named Michael. I forget where the shortening rule came from, but the story was something like that anyways...
Question: Do you guys think that we'll put Wilson as a punt returner? I've seen some of his highlights and he's extremely talented at this position. Especially now with Leon gone it seems that this would make a lot of sense.
