Updated list. Among the players now left that I remember reading about possibly fitting with us, either on this site or somewhere else: LeGarrette Blount (RB), C.J. Wilson(DE), Linsday Witten (DE), Vince Oghobasse (DT) , Myron Rolle (S), Dorin Dickerson (TE), Blair White (WR), Freddie Barnes (WR), Mickey Shuler (TE), Donovan Warren (CB).
Yeah, would have been interesting to see how the other QBs stacked up against Skelton (unless that was another segment that I may have missed) ... still love the old school technology to drown out McShay's nonsense (Channel Up/Down, Mute) ..
Pittsburgh ramping back up for some ground and pound of their own. Smart move since they are without Ben for 6 games.
I watch on mute. I can't listen to him or Kiper! When they argue I wish a sniper would take them out.
Bengals did well to replenish their anemic receiving core. Gresham, Shipley, and Briscoe..If they pan out, they did very well!
I can at tolerate Kiper these days, maybe because he comes off as less obnoxious than he used to. McShay on the other hand, I agree ... can we take up a collection to have him taken out? That idiot notwithstanding, I actually prefer the Day 3 "B"-Team coverage. Wingo generally keeps the discussions on track, Jaws, Kiper and Bruschi offering their analysis when appropriate ... as opposed to the Berman-lead "A"-Team coverage which aside from Gruden was utterly horrible. Everyone trying to scream over one another, Tom Jackson looking like someone pissed in his Wheaties, Steve Young mugging for the cameras and offering his best McShay impersonation with inane comments. I wish I still could get the NFL Network (and Mayock's commentary) but the "B"-Team I can put up with, the "A"-Team: another reason why the Mute button was created.
I agree with you. It's much better today than the "A" team. Tom Jackson looked like a stroke victim up there, and Boomer is just annoying. I like Gruden, since he probably knows the MODERN day game better than any of the panel. I also wish I had NFLN :/. If you have Sirius, there coverage was pretty good on Day 1.
am I still understanding this right, both Kyle Calloway and Freddie Barnes are still on the board? Wowzer thats a bit of a shocker to me. Here is to hoping they both slide right out of the draft....
I'm a bit perplexed on Barnes. NFL.com had him rated at a 2.2, maybe everyone else sees him the same way. But, it's hard to believe no one has taken him with one of these late picks (based of his on field performance alone).
Actually, we threw our 7th round pick in with Leon on the trade up with Seattle. But yea, we're out of draft picks.
Twas a valuable draft for us.... I liked our pix, not sad about Fanaca, def. gonna miss Leon, but i agree it was a good move......:shit::smile:
