Yeah, nobody wants to take a chance on an explosive player. With a late pick....

He has traded for Jenkins, Drafted Harris, Signed Bart Scott, Calvin pace, and extended Devito.... Do you realize he made those moves as well or just enjoy talking out of your ass? This is only one tool for adding players. We have depth needs at DL but have not addressed them yet. Then again we are returning all but Douglas from last years line......

He's freaking scary in open field, he's got the potential to be a gamebreaker maybe a guy we use out of the backfield to catch passes as well? I can't see us using him as a between the tackles guy. Man if this guy lives up to his potential it's an amazing pick.

I'm sorry to say this, but this is NOT a good draft in my mind if we do not address DL depth.

The Jets just picked up Joe McKnight. A very talented third-down, change of direction back from USC. He'll help Sanchez in the play-making department. I know the backfield is crowded, but you can always find room for a playmaker.

    There you go.

The Jets can't trade Leon if he can't pass a physical. Our draft is relatively over.

I am starting to see what Rex is doing. He knows what positions require great players and what positions require a great system.

Or...now the phone is ringing for Leon instead of the Jets calling people about him.

I'm not upset at the trade value. I don't like the pick unless we get rid of Leon, considering what else was on the board.

And I'm allowed to react strongly. This is basically like a game thread. I don't need to be called "fucking dumb". Get over yourself.

We also moved Gladys to DE (for what it's worth) and JT can also play DE/OLB

Ever here of the waiver wire or a trade midseason if ALL five of our RBs fall at the same time and get hurt....

It would really be unlike Tanny to trade for McKnight and not have a clue for Leon Washington's current value.

We must get a couple picks in return for Washington. Absolutely no excuse. Eagles?

I have a feeling this team will be picking again at least once in addition to the 7th round pick...

This is now about a lock for Leon to be traded with Joe McKnight around.. Plus, Kyle Wilson is an excellent return-man.

I think we'll have a 4th or 5th plus for Leon and maybe a 7th for Kellen Clemens...

But damn, I'm really upset to see Leon go... Thanks for winning this team numerous games Leon. ... Wish you were sticking around

Didn't stand out at UNC. one of our experts said it, i've seen it in tons of the "negative" paragraphs in the analysis.

I guess he's that pedestrian, or teams are missing out on him.

    Maybe he lasts longer

Joe McKnight is an exciting player and can go the distant on any play.

Excellent hands out of the backfield.

Think of a Black Danny Woodhead.:).....only 1000 times better and bigger.

I thought the trade up was definitely for Cam Thomas or Ricky Sapp, who the Jets met with prior to the draft and were supposedly impressed with. But if the braintrust thought McKnight was too good to pass up, who am I to argue.

We still have Pouha and DeVito and can bring back Marques Douglas i'm sure. Plus Gholston (i know he sucks) being moved to the DE position, maybe they are satisfied with that depth

WTF? If five running backs on your roster get hurt than God just doesn't want you to win. At that point just take the hint.
