Guys I wouldn't mind having (mix of 4th/6th rounds): Thomas, Cam Norwood, Eric Griffen, Everson Wootton, Corey Jones, Reshad Gibson, Thaddeus Campbell, Bruce Sapp, Ricky Franks, Dominique Owusu-Ansah, Akwasi Cox, Perrish Thompson, Syd'quan Chancellor, Kam Warren, Donovan Dwyer, Jonathan Barnes, Freddie Atkins, Geno Dixon, Anthony
Can someone ballpark the following as to how they fit Rex's scheme? Norwood, Eric Gibson, Thaddeus Sapp, Ricky Also, is Cam strickly a NT or does he project to end too? Thanks
Norwood, Gibson and Sapp...all project to OLB in the 3-4 defense. Cam Thomas can play both positions 3-4DE/NT...I see Rex using Thomas (mostly) as a DE.... Thomas is versatile to move anywhere on the line. Think ..Ngata on the Ravens.
Thanks. Of the 3 OLBs, which fits our scheme better? I am intrigued by Norwood but I hear he is too small. Is Sapp a better option for what we need? I don't know much about Gibson at all.
At the very least I hope we leave with Cam Thomas, Ricky Sapp, Everson Griffen, AOA or Reshad Jones. If we could somehow acquire another 4th rounder and get two of them, this draft would be a huge success.
Let's see if Tanny trades up. Would need to give up a 2011 pick or a player. Round 6 and 7 sn't going to get it done fo an early rd 4 pick.
for some reason I think Tanny is just going to stad pat, so much talent on the board no need to trade up, guys will fall right to us. Hell we might even trade back this time to double dip and grab a few guys who slid into the 5th/6th
Gilyad off the board... Good pick for St. Louis, they need playmakers around bradford in the worst way possible.
