Probably going 8-12 from what I have seen, if he slips from there he could slide to 20. Don't follow enough to be sure.
If he did slide and was available at 19 is it doable to try and hit ATL with the #29 and the second round for their #19 and fourth.
No I don't play Madden and not sure if this is considered out there but have at it.

My first hope would be a few coveted players drop and have the 29 pick in demand and pick up a few extras.

If a player like B. Graham or D. Williams, or even E. Thomas falls into our lap at 29, and we trade back, I will be PISSED.

Simply because you don't trade back for the sake of trading back. You should draft for value. Quality > Quantity, even in a deep draft like this.

I am not talking about trading back if Berry or someone similar drops into our laps which is a pipe dream but there are some players that wouldn't fit what the Jets need but are a big need for other teams that might overpay for the spot.

The more I think about the Jets trading up in the draft the more I think we'll end up with a bad deal or it won't happen. I think the league is gun-shy about wheeling and dealing with Mr. T and the Jets right now. Everyone in the league knows we're making killer deals especially the one with Holmes.

I think teams will be extra cautious when dealing with the Jets on draft day.

We better stick with what we've got.

I said Graham as a game changer, but wouldn't mind anyone on this list except for Kindle, who I think will be there at 29 and Price who I don't see as a fit for our D.

Along these lines, does anyone think that the Jets don't trade up because they have to consider the likelihood of a salary cap somewhere down the line? If the Jets trade up a lot higher in the first round, they'd be picking up a much higher salary (on an unproven player), while still needing to re-sign a few key guys already on the team in the next few years.

I can see maybe trading up a few spots to pick up a specific guy that maybe dropped a little further than expected, but not up into the marquis player range.

There are always unexpected risers and fallers in the draft.

I'd rather the Jets just stay put at 29, trading back is nice cause you get extra picks, but if you can get a better player at 29, i'd take him.

In addition to Jacksonville, the Chiefs are rumored to be looking to trade down now, too.

Why wasn't Eric Berry on this poll instead of Ryan Mattheews? If the JETS were somehow able to trade up to get him, our secondary would be official.

This is the first year in a long time that I hope they don't trade up and I don't care who they take. They have NO glaring needs. It would be nice to get some future players to back up the people that are getting old but they really don't NEED anything to be a legitimate contender this year and I can't remember the last time I thought that.

The players listed are a stretch to fall into the late teens, Berry is an impossibility.

We would never trade into the top-5 from 29.

IDK how many times this has been repeated on the site in different threads. We should just make this the motto of the draft forum until Thursday....
"Forget Eric Berry, it just won't happen"

Did I give another answer earlier? Now it's Graham. Or D. Williams.
