http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/multimedia/photo_gallery/1004/nfl.draft.bargains/content.1.html Jets have two on the list.
In case anyone cares Curtis Martin RB, Third Round, New England Patriots, 1995 Martin was voted preseason All-America his senior year at Pitt, but an injury in the second game forced him to sit out the rest of the season. As a rookie he started 14 games, finishing with franchise records for carries (368), yards (1,487) and rushing touchdowns (14). He played three seasons with the Patriots before moving on to the Jets. His most productive season was 2004, when he finished with 1,697 yards on 371 carries. Kerry Rhodes S, Fourth Round, New York Jets, 2005 Rhodes came out of Louisville with little fanfare, but won the starting strong safety job with the Jets in his rookie season and started all 16 games for New York. In his second and third seasons, Rhodes made a name for himself as a playmaker in the secondary, intercepting a total of nine passes, racking up seven sacks, and forcing five fumbles. The Jets shipped Rhodes to Arizona in March in exchange for draft picks.
What are you talking about? The only Jets draft pick on the list is Kerry Rhodes. Are you counting Curtis Martin as a "draft day steal" for us? Because I don't think they're counting the 1st and 3rd we gave up for him as the "steal".
Tom Brady not being no. 1 makes this list dumb as s***. I hate him, but let's be real. The 6th round?!?!
So in other words, the only thing as "dumb as shit" is not knowing how they ordered the players before bitching about it?
The funny part is, if they weren't arranged chronologically, and instead were from least to greatest as most lists are, Kerry Rhodes would be the #1 biggest draft day steal according to the list order. That amuses me greatly.
Hey, I could have Sharpton up as my avatar. Then I'd really look dumb as s***. But, yeah, my bad. Looked over the list for about 10 seconds.
You just mad ol Al gave you the smack down... let me tell ya boy, if you want to talk shit, Al loves shit, he can go on all damn day about shit and never get tired of it.
At the risk of interrupting Rev Al If we're gonna call fourth rounders steals, I don't see how Kerry rates ahead of Cotch and Leon. Shit, we just traded him for next to diddly, that's gotta say something about what a steal he is
