Armando Salguero is possibly the biggest homer of any beat writer I have ever seen, I instantly dismiss anything he writes.

They beat us twice last year so it's not like we were way ahead of them or anything. And our 9-7 record vs their 7-9 record is a moot point considering our two gifts at the end of the season.

winning two playoff games on the road doesn't factor into this equation at all?

No. They beat us twice and who's to say if they were given two gifts that they wouldn't have won two playoff games?

I stopped reading this article when the author quoted Revis after the Dolphins got Marshall and then threw Marshall's stats against Cro when he was a Charger. Why does he think Cro will cover Marshall? And in his mind, who and why would Revis cover anybody else? Hartline? Bess? Camarillo? GTFOH.

This is homerism and laziness on the part of the author at it's best. No reason to comment even further.

Actually, I could see Rex putting Cro on Marshall with safety support, and singling Revis on Bess. Both would make for excellent turnover possibilities.

if our kickoff team gets their head out of their ass the jets win game 2.

if sanchez doesn't throw 5 picks in buffalo we win that that game too.

playing the what if game works both ways. now with my what if's the jets are 11-5 last year. i much prefer to stick with what happened. the jets made the playoffs and made a run at the superbowl while the fins played golf.

I haven't hated Miami and their fans this much in a long time!!

I can't wait until we play them, what's this cocksucker writer going to write when Revis shuts him down?

"Oh I forgot that Revis would be covering the #1 WR for most of the game. Hey at least Cro has child support still."

If you think we were league's ahead of the Dolphins you are only fooling yourself. Using excuses as to why we lost to the Dolphins last year is weak. The Special Teams is 1/3 of the game. They got the job done and we didn't.

I didn't play a what if game. It's totally reasonable to think the Dolphins could have won two playoff games if they had received two gift victories at the end of the season like we did.

I wouldn't put it past Rex. I'm sure he'll bait QB to throw anywhere opposite Revis, but I think it's safe to say that Revis will be covering Marshall about 90-95% of the time throughout the course of a game. The Dolphins don't have any other threats outside of Marshall. It's not like they have an Antonio Gates, or Welker on the team to warrant a lot of attention from Revis, but it certainly wouldn't surprise me.

Why are we still debating this? We already know that Marshall will be catching every pass when the Jets play the Dolphins. Even the ones Mark Sanchez throws.

Gee, I actually appreciate the NY writers after reading this. Other then Serby, who's not a beat writer, nobody who covered the Jets would ever wrtie an article from a fans perspective. This is actually worse then something Rich "the glass is 1/2 emty" Cimini would write. That what happends when there is one team in town. This gives me insight on why Dolphin fans act the way they do

I barely read the newspaper anymore. This article is a good example of today's "sportswriters".

    I've said it 100 times ... and now I'll say it 101 ...

There's no way in hell Marshall will make it through an entire season in South Beach without getting into trouble... He's just not capeable of doing it. They keep referring to him as a "risk". To me it's no risk ... it's a sure thing. It's programmed into his DNA. Check back in 7 or 8 months and see if I don't turn out to be right.
